Another hvacr videos to help show hvac troubleshooting. If you are considering joining the hvac trade I highly suggest getting hvac training from a trade school. Online hvac training videos only get you so far. From experience hvac school is the way to go. No matter what you call it HVAC, HVACR, Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Chillers, Low Temp, High Temp, Mechanical, ect, we are all blue collar in this hvac life.

Am changing different types of Train control to New carel control so SKM control
Technician mansour from Iraq
I'm working on an RTAA270 I have read through RTAA service bulletin 18 & 4 and each of the service bulletins state that the lip seal is not serviceable in the field. I'm curious to know if you understand why that is stated that way since you can obviously buy the unloader Puck assembly along with the gasket and O-ring for the discharge. I watch all of your videos and this one directly relates to an issue I'm working on right now considering it's the same chiller as well as the same compressor that's having the same issue. Also wouldn't it just be easier to replace the unloader Puck instead of putting the bypass kit on? I'm just wondering if the reason they make that kit is a cost issue?
How can we change New control for other models. To Train
Nice video man! have one and RTAA125 presents an alarm (oil Flow Control) how to solve?
Need to check your oil temp
Brother how long it took to recover one circuit ? very helpfull video for me thanks
Less than a day for circuit 2 135# and a full day for circuit 1 360#. Circuit 1 was overcharged, factory was 318#
I have rtda 085 chiller.after runing 5 minuts oil temperature 🌡 fell down from 62c to 37c and compressor making noise and pressure around
Suction 45PSI liquid line 150psi
Sounds like your compressor is flooding. Either a water flow issue or exv over feeding. The saturation sensor and suction sensor are notorious to fail. Thoughts?
@@HVACTIME i changed liquid line sensor also but same situation.oil cooling lines become cool
I would need more details on specific readings but heres what I see so far.
1. 5min run time is when circuit will start loading up after startup.
2. The oil temp drops rapidly at loading.
3. The suction pressure is highish at 50F of saturation at loading.
4. Compressor changes sound
Those variables suggest a flooding state.
Hello HVAC TIME ....can you just send me full video of loader unloader piston change
Is there anything wrong with using a wire wheel on drill or grinder to remove the pieces of old gasket that way? Or is it too risky?
Wire wheel is good to use. Just becareful not to sit and score up one spot.
A good gasket scraper with replaceable blades and scotch bright does a great job. Just clean everything up good, scotch bright abrasive crumbling off the pad will damage surfaces I'd left in the system.
