Every simulator and every game has always bugs. Its not possible to develop one without. In my opinion MSFS2024 is still quite good, after they improved the stream/cloud performance. I enjoy the new simulator so much and am very hopeful that things will become even better over time.

Regarding camera viewpoints, two words: quick views. I use the same keys for xp and msfs and use the same style of camera positions on all planes. My setup: 0(10 I guess). EFB 1. IFR instrument view 2. main pilot view, 3. copilot view, 4. overhead, 5. cdu/ND combined if possible, 6 pedestal, 7-9 wingviews or secondary panels(like engineer in 727/747-200 etc.) My preference is using numpad for these keys. Reset your default view by using the "VFR PILOT VIEW SAVE" bind - i set mine to RIGHT CTRL + V - so use arrows and alt+ arrows to get where you like, then RIGHT CONTROL + V (or whatever you set). It will kind of move you to a weird place when you set it, but then hit your reset view key and you should be back where you want to be.

There may be a better way to do it but if you don’t like the default view, you can use the cockpit translate view key binds and save your default position so you can return to it with a key shortcut. I do that in every aircraft.

For the default point of view, you can bind it in the keybind settings. It’s called something like save vfr camera however it’ll get broken after a sim restart. For the time being, I recommend using “LOCK” interaction system instead of legacy for the default aircrafts.
Thanks! I really dislike the LOCK interaction system due to the blue buttons, that's really their worst design decision ever... luckily in the Airbusses no such problems exist and I'm happy to fly the Busses till some good Boeings arrive.
@ Airbus like the A400M also needs LOCK for that little C/L control stick. The legacy system is pretty much very broken for most of new planes except for inibuilds ones.
23:00 I wouldn't say that the default view point is something of the developers concern. Because you can easily adjust your cockpit position if you look for the cockpit-moving hotkeys in the settings, and you can also make preset view-points for yourself and call each by different defined buttons, you have setup before.
@@seanomatopoeia No, it doesn't. Or lets say, maybe I was just lucky? At least, it didn't screw my camera settings up. You really have to be gentle with thrust levers in 2024 during flare, as the planes will basically drop, if you do it too quickly but it makes placing the aircraft on a runway a lot easier. Does it feel more natural? I remember you pointing out that aspect in your msfs vs real life video.
Hey, atleast the taxiway bridges have been improved that they are actually bridges instead of barriers with pitch black tunnels like they were in 2020. Only problem is that they seem to be still under construction.

there are settings for the mouse sensitivy under "accessibility / effects and Animation" Turn the cursor acceleration and speed down, I have mine at 2 and 5. which seems to match my regular mouse speed outside of MSFS. Not sure how you change the default view, but I changed all the custom camera controls back to what they are in 2020 "ctrl, alt, 1-5" to set and "alt 1-5" to switch to that view. I then got rid of the go to default view command which is "reset camera position" and set my HAT click for "custom camera 1" instead, effectivly creating a new default view with the custom camera view option. Also for some reason, your 747 seems to be way buggier than mine. My click spots works just fine the brightness knobs all do what they should, the spoiler click spot is fine.. Maybe you have some controller issues. more than half the issues you had during the flight.. I have not had.
Streaming aircraft from the cloud will always be a problem because of the complexities of the aircraft systems. Like 2020 scenery streaming, because of the size, is understandable once they have fixed bugs like the one in this video. Microsoft will have to make available direct downloading of default aircraft as it is in 2020.
Loved the wing flex as the -8 fell through the bridge. I also laughed at the ramp truck behind the plane. It seemed to wait a few seconds, as if this catastrophe could be remedied, then seemed to turn around in disgust.
Damn those LIDO charts look cool. Similar look to the road maps done in Germany/France. The Jeppesen/Navigraph look much more like american style FAA charts.
there is something very wrong with the outer cockpit window frames, that thick layer is very wrong, looks like the vc is too small for the outer fuse shell/ skin so they have used a filler to bridge the gap, real shame because the actually geometry accuracy of the vc and externally is very good overall. way better than the fs2020 default 747, this one is actually better than the pmdg 747 too in that regard.
I have a problem with msfs 2024. As I have the Latin VFR static aircraft and I cannot turn off AI aircraft in the settings as I am on Xbox, there is 2 planes at every gate. We don’t have any graphics settings available. Is there a way that we can either delete an add on or turn off the AI traffic? Cheers
Crazy to put out a product that is only really 90%or less there. I guess we are the testers and bug finders. Ugh. This was supposed to be ready out of the gate....not really a complaint but a fact..in my eyes. I'm sure it will get resolved...till then I'll wait. 2020 has been a good performer..and i hope we dont loose updates to that. I like the offline mode in 2020 as well. These total online games maybe good for them, but not for us...when the net goes down.
Hi Emanuel, I am still on the fence on the MSFS2024 'upgrade' .. I've got MSFS2020 on steam, do you still recommend going with the Microsoft Store version of 2024 like you mentioned previously?
Is flying procedure really same for every plane? it seems that every plane you fly in this game you know exactly what / where to press in every plane (sorry for novice question)
Ay caramba! You see one video where things look encouraging , and then you see one like this where a 747 falls through a bridge . . . It's gonna take a while . . . Now, after that, it does have to be said that the potential is there for a great sim, we'll just have to be patient.
24:30 - the captain's low default point of view seems doubly ridiculous whenever you turn to the right and see that the first officer's eyeline is a full head and shoulders higher than yours. maybe the captain is actually 12 years old?
It feels like they are trying to create an airplane game, not the flight simulator. Therefore they allways focus to make a good looking environment but not spend enough time for the avionics.. It's like they are trying to attract lots of people and encourage them to grab a simple joystik, just run the engines and advance the throttle to fly.. come on, it's been almost 5 years but still don't have properly working weather radar, which is essential in my opinion
@BernardLangham agreed but since all the third party developers already switched to the msfs, we have to be in the same basket with "average flyer".. no more P3D, very less X-plane ..
Why isn't the EFB integrated into the flight deck? Where are all the systems and fixes that working title integrated into the default 747 and 787? This is just utterly beyond belief.
The EFB is integrated into the flight deck in quite a few aircrafts for MSFS2024. I am pretty sure, they will add it to the rest of the aircrafts too or maybe they are planning something different ahead, who knows. Not every EFB layout looks the same, so eventually they want to integrate a different EFB layout for this aircraft and its "work in progress".
I just tried to make my first flight on this Boeing but with no success. I couldn't even set up custom views in the cockpit. The simulator refuses to save views in this particular aircraft. This simulator today causes only irritation.
Its incredible how many steps forward and how many steps backwards weve taken when it comes to this sim in general, not to mention specific aircraft. Its just incredibly frustrating and disappointing. The amount of bugs in this game too are just astonishing.
You had a crash on the the highway. All I am getting from MSFS2024 is Crash to Desktop. Was not able to do a single flight (my specs are just like yours except that I am running on i9 13900K).
I haven't purchased 2024 yet because I'm waiting for these server issues to subside. Kinda sad to see that pretty much the only reliable default airliners are the InBuilds developed ones. That is a bit disappointing, considering the cost of the game. Also, the localizer was 1 dot to the left on final? Wth!

Gotta love it. Airbus getting all the love and us boeing fans get utter crap....shouldn't be surprised.
Fr. At least we have PMDG I guess.
@Michael-zf1ko eventually lol but not yet in 2024
@@WarHawkAU24i’m using the pmdg 737 in 2024
i wish more pilots would park next to the road, easier than the whole gate, immigration, arrivals thing. Just pop out the slides and hail a taxi
there are settings for the mouse sensitivy under "accessibility / effects and Animation" Turn the cursor acceleration and speed down, I have mine at 2 and 5. which seems to match my regular mouse speed outside of MSFS.
Please also try the DreamLifter! Since that has an all-new 744 cockpit. I have seen no one flying it yet. (Although it’s probably gonna be sub-par 😂)
You should give the Saab 340 a go!
I just want to tell you good luck, we're all counting on you.
🤣 - Don't call me Shirley!!
A matter of taste but for me the Queen of the sky was, is and will be the A380.
PS: awesome videos! 👌👍
Cheers
Same on pc, i am not able to uninstall some old addons like static aircraft or the captain sim 777… Hope it will get fixed soon
I’m sure this sim will be great in 4 years
He said “that is not healthy”😂
Crazy to put out a product that is only really 90%or less there. I guess we are the testers and bug finders. Ugh. This was supposed to be ready out of the gate....not really a complaint but a fact..in my eyes. I'm sure it will get resolved...till then I'll wait. 2020 has been a good performer..and i hope we dont loose updates to that. I like the offline mode in 2020 as well. These total online games maybe good for them, but not for us...when the net goes down.
Welcome to Microsoft Immersion Break Simulator
Hi Emanuel, I am still on the fence on the MSFS2024 'upgrade' .. I've got MSFS2020 on steam, do you still recommend going with the Microsoft Store version of 2024 like you mentioned previously?
Is flying procedure really same for every plane? it seems that every plane you fly in this game you know exactly what / where to press in every plane (sorry for novice question)
Beautiful Cabin
Did you buy 2024 on ms store or steam? Where is better to buy?
Ay caramba! You see one video where things look encouraging , and then you see one like this where a 747 falls through a bridge . . . It's gonna take a while . . .
Now, after that, it does have to be said that the potential is there for a great sim, we'll just have to be patient.
why are people all of a sudden expecting the default aircraft to be highly detailed study level?
I think people would not mind paying for a detailed and realistic aircraft, like PMDG …
Cause inibuilds set the new bar
@@bamer421 inibuilds is a third party developer..
Because in MSFS 2020 after working title update they were quite decent
Because I expect them to work at a basic level at least- not study level. It is supposed to be a flight simulator after all...
It's like they are trying to attract lots of people and encourage them to grab a simple joystik, just run the engines and advance the throttle to fly.. come on, it's been almost 5 years but still don't have properly working weather radar, which is essential in my opinion
its not "like what they're trying to do." it IS what they're trying to do. in fact, they expect the average player to fly in third person.
@BernardLangham agreed but since all the third party developers already switched to the msfs, we have to be in the same basket with "average flyer".. no more P3D, very less X-plane ..
You do not yet have ability to adjust cockpit view height in the seat as you do in msfs 2020?
lol. Do I buy it now, start career mode and hope airliners are fixed by the time I progress far enough?
Why isn't the EFB integrated into the flight deck? Where are all the systems and fixes that working title integrated into the default 747 and 787?
This is just utterly beyond belief.
The EFB is integrated into the flight deck in quite a few aircrafts for MSFS2024. I am pretty sure, they will add it to the rest of the aircrafts too or maybe they are planning something different ahead, who knows. Not every EFB layout looks the same, so eventually they want to integrate a different EFB layout for this aircraft and its "work in progress".
What are the red covers on over the jet engines for?
That bridge was under construction still😅😅!
😂😂😂😂
I just tried to make my first flight on this Boeing but with no success. I couldn't even set up custom views in the cockpit. The simulator refuses to save views in this particular aircraft. This simulator today causes only irritation.
Its incredible how many steps forward and how many steps backwards weve taken when it comes to this sim in general, not to mention specific aircraft. Its just incredibly frustrating and disappointing. The amount of bugs in this game too are just astonishing.
So after seeing all those “24” review videos only the Ini build A330 is good?
Great Video, but the EFB is working, you have to press the PWR Button!
Thank you! There's no clickspot on the PWR button?
How do the aircraft get worse from one version to the next? This 747 is pretty good in 2020.
You had a crash on the the highway. All I am getting from MSFS2024 is Crash to Desktop. Was not able to do a single flight (my specs are just like yours except that I am running on i9 13900K).
i cant believe im raging more at msfs 2024 than i am at cod bo6
at 19:10 - just a procedural question, but what's the safe space for these guys? The hashed lines or like, miles away?
Hi, the color varies a bit per airport or country, but generally there must not be anything within the line around your gate.
Wth!
I'm waiting till gamers will push on Asobo/MS the world update to drop the cloud downloading and make it available for us to download ale the content like in 2020. Not everyone has 300gb/s glassfibers. Despite I do have one I'm not really happy about downloading tons of GBs every day. of the same data, over and over.
@@AnaheimBN We don't have to push them. They will already do that when the marketplace is released.
ill never fly an asobo/default plane unless its from inibuilds. 3rd part all the way. Im fine waiting another year for PMDG 747s release
do you think later on the physics are going to change or is that gonna come in a later update
Just another normal bug at the end😂
More than four years of playing and most people don't even know how to configure the camera, my goodness...
And the landing seemed like it was in SLOW MOTION, not realistic. There is no way a 747 would stop that quick.
I won't pay over 130 USD for a game just to have more bugs in more airplanes. For the time being I'll continue on with Game Pass, thank you.
Do you have trim before takeoff (no than 737 max)😂
