In this video, John tests the Ryobi 300 watt inverter powering three Electro Voice speakers. In the demonstration, the inverter powers two subwoofers and one full range top speaker for over an hour at a peak volume of 107 decibels. The inverter worked when the 'running' wattage draw was under 100 watts playing pop music. Heavy bass music would cause the subwoofers to over-draw the inverter and it would shut down. The volume of the test was more than adequate for most background/back yard parties or wedding ceremonies for up to 1 hour.
