- Apple | MacBook | MacBook Pro | Which USB-C Port Can Be Used For Power Adapter?
When I used the MacBook first time, I also had a question in my mind that which USB-C port can be used to power it? Then I checked its manual for the answer.
Till today, people often ask me this question and the answer is you can use any port to charge/power it.
Can i use a 10 watt charger to charge it ? And i tried to charge it from dead but does it need time to turn on ?
A 10 watts charger is not for it. It will burn the charger and it may also create problems for the MacBook.
How do use a USB Cable for MacBook Pro 13inch 2017. I don’t have any USB cable to plug my USB cable. Most devices comes with a USB cable to plug into a USB cable but in 13inch MacBook Pro it don’t have that option ????
I only have two small tiny C type cable if that make sense ?
You have to use a USB-C Hub.
Ok thanks for the helpful information. I didn’t know until now the MacBook Pro is very extra
I have charging cut off problem in my macbook pro.......i buy new charger bt still same problem
Can i use samung charger to charge my macbook type c or should i have to get a original one
What is the watts of the SAMSUNG USB-C adapter?
And what is the watts required for the MacBook to charge?
Which MacBook do you have?
@@ubaidq34 @UBAID QURESHI i have macbook pro my samsung charger have 45w pd type c to c my mac has 96w I guess am not sure
@@mohammedabdulraheem-webdev5055 You should not use the SAMSUNG charger to charge the MacBook Pro.
You should buy Apple's Original Charging Adapter (which is compatible with your MacBook Pro).
@@ubaidq34why we should not use the samsung charger? Any specific reasons?
My original m1 macbook air 30W charger got repaired so I had to buy new one. But it's no longer available. Only the dual port 35w charger is available which is expensive. Then, I looked samsung charger which also supports 35w pd. So, power wise both are equally Same right? What will cause an issue...?
@@mohammedafzal4343 The main reasons are the safety of the device (that to be charged) and the compatibility with the device (that to be charged).
If your SAMSUNG charging adapter is original and its watts are equal or above with the required watts of the device that is to be charged then you can use.
Is it safe to connect the cord directly to to a socket without the adapter
No
@@ubaidq34 ok thanks. I asked because my laptop isn't coming on. And I noticed that my adapter makes a sound, like a clicking sound. Almost as if power isnt going to the laptop from the adapter
@@ubaidq34 I'm trying to use a lenovo charger and its just showing the charging sign and a red battery sign. Its not coming up. What do you think the issue is pls?
@@activityontv You can purchase the new and original charging adapter.
Furthermore, MacBooks are a very expensive item so, you should not take the risk. The unknown adapters can damage the MacBook.
@@activityontv Lenovo is OK but I recommend the Apple's charging adapter.
thank you
You are most welcome.

What is the watts capacity of your existing charging adapter?
Furthermore, are you using Apple's original charging adapter?

Use 4 chargers for quadriple power charging
Can you please describe it briefly?
It only charges from one port at a time.
@@FrederickWalser Thanks for making me understand the scenario.
I think that we should only use 1 charger at a time for the safety of our device.
@@ubaidq34 from what I gathered only one would be active anyway.

Thanks Zakir.
