Wow I never have heard your voice before I like it!
There's no such thing as low frequency mode. The only thing you're doing is turning off the safety on the DSP so it becomes unrestricted which can damage your speaker.

Both yes and no, it turns of the safety for the volume but it also turns off the low frequency safety

Theres always lfm they just changed the combination cause lfm is a Manufacturer testing mode unless they changed it to only have that mode if connected to their software

Probably changed it so they can only use it through that service port on the back. I spent ages trying every single combo when my power was out. no luck

@@FLUFFS : I have a gg charge 4 so it has a plastic woofer not a paper woofer like tl,so it does fine with lfm

@@enduropablo_spl I mean coil is kinda what you worry about I guess but I do it once a week so.TL is bad bc of the paper woofer and the more flex causes it to break in lfm sometimes.I also use my charge 4 in normal mode so I kinda do both really with my speaker but ya,lfm isn’t the best but I don’t do it too much so it’s okay to do once in a while

My Extreme 3 has it low frequency mode that means the bass on/off switch not recommended in higher volume. Soon I will buy a boombox 3.

Yes the xtreme 3 is the last to have it I just tried for a little bit I see no point in using the passive radiator moves with the deep notes but what good is that if you can’t hear them at all and plus the other thing I noticed was it’s very bright which is very annoying but the bass doesn’t stop increasing which is pretty cool but I reverted back the normal mode because I ain’t trying to spend other 380 or 270 on another Jbl xtreme 3 honestly I don’t get the point of using it I did use it at max volume for a couple seconds and certain songs depending on how low the note is it distorts so I immediately turn it down but like I said earlier you can’t hear those notes at all
You have to do it on the volume down and the and pause button at the same time to turn bass mode on and off

It doesn't need low frequency mode, because it has a dedicated subwoofer to hit the low frequencies
it still has protection and it wont let it play frequincies past its tuning range. (40hz)

@@bass_freak It's not like that i know what i'm talking because i had for 1 year the boombox 2 and the highs were just perfect and the bass too. I'm very sure that Harman will release an software update for the speaker, but they are definitely NOT garbage. Also i'm subscribed to techder too, but nowadays products get better in the first months of release with software updates and i'm sure that this speaker will be a very good one, remember JBL has great audio engineers and they are just legendary with their audio products. If you want almost no highs just go with absolutely trash Sony speakers even these new ones are bad.

Eh. 350 für ne Sinnvolle, relativ kompakte, Wasserdichte Akku Box mit dediziertem Tieftöner wirst du sonst nur schwer finden.
Für zu Hause in normal großen Innenräumen natürlich vollkommen überdimensioniert. Aber für nen relativ leeren Campingplatz bzw Strand oder die ab und zu stadtfindende Garten oder Grillfeier(solange man keinen anderen Leuten auf den Sack geht, halt) eigentlich ziemlich ideal.
Sinnloser find ich da die Wi-Wi Variante, die eigentlich nur für zu Hause gedacht ist und zusätzlich noch 3 Kilo mehr wiegt und gut 150€ teurer ist.
