Those types of thigs were built into the flight line during those years. power and air had boxes up and down the flightline between every aircraft parking spaces at most bases. so technically that would be on ED to fix the maps.

Great job guys. Just one point, in after burner the engines are missing that classic tomcat “Hum,” sound. Watch any good audio video of an F-14B/D flat 8 or MRT with burners on to hear the “hum,” I am describing due to the twin engine effect. If you could add that sound effect in it will be pretty much perfect in terms of audio accuracy. But great job overall.

@heatblur I've spent the last ~2+ years in mourning because the F14B is so wretched STR/ITR/TWR/lift-wise in BFM. Also the fragile flap damage model neutered it below 300kts. When you guys frailized/fragilized the F14B flaps and it went from being so awesome at BFM to being so wretched at BFM, part of me died.
Sounds awesome! Curious why nobody has pointed out that the anti collision lights on the vertical stabs blink instead of the steady flash like on the actual jet.

I have a question on the aim 7s sparrows, they have 4 fins front and back right? If so, where the hell does the forward vertical fin go if the missile pylon is blocking it.

How are all these hires textures capable of loading into 8gb of modern GPU cards? Heatblur uses dozens of 4k textures to cover a single plane, while other modules use 4k textures for full birds. I'd love to know what the trick is..
The VF-154 Black Knights and the VF-211 Fighting Checkmates used F-14As as Bombcats. Their F-14As were a lot different from the 1970s and Top Gun. Their F-14As have modifications and upgrades based on the F-14B. F-14A and F-14B are very confusing because the F-14A has ECMs on the glove vanes and one ECM was attached on the port side nose gear, as the ECM was used to be on the starboard nose hear. The F-14A also has the TACAN Antenna, UHF Antenna and the GPS Dome. One ECM is on the beaver tail of the F-14A. It also has NACA gun vents, removing the two-hole gun vents from the F-14A. From the outside, it look exactly like an F-14B but it has glove vanes and the P&W TF30-414A turbofan engines. The pylon is narrower than the missile. Also missiles are not dropped, they are ejected with percussion shells, similar to how a ramset works.
