- Apex Legends New Season 23 Has A New Surprise as it arrives this month and will be the last season of 2024. A few teasers and leaks have already come out, revealing hints of what's coming to the game. According to the battle pass countdown, Apex Legends Season 23 is set to begin on Tuesday, October 29. The update will be available to install at 10:00 am PT (6:00 pm BST). Players will be able to preload the update a few days or hours before the season starts, giving them the chance to play immediately.

Can we get a town takeover where the servers are a higher tick rate? Cosmetics, old LTMs won’t bring the players back… the player base wants a better quality game with tuned SBMM and servers from THIS decade

The fact that they didn’t upgrade the tick rate when the game had the most players and revenue just means that there is no way they’ll ever do it now, sadly.
The servers will never be upgraded. It costs too much money they EA isn't willing to pay

Hey EA! Just in case you haven't been told over a million times, an actual "Anti-cheat", actual "SBMM", and actual "Better servers" will bring far more player's back (also will bring actual NEW players) than any event and/or cosmetic EVER WILL.
Character lore was part of the reason I got into Apex.... I do miss towntakeovers.

In game content will not bring the players back. System improvements are the only chance.
Better servers, better matchmaking…but matchmaking is also being strained because so many players have left so that is exacerbating that issue. So it’ll be tough, and I don’t think EA has guts or care to do any of it
They need to go back to the old formula, legend heirlooms and town take overs.

The game definitely needs an equivalent of "Operation Health", where they fix the biggest issues instead of "MONEY, ERK ERK ERK"
More TTO's could be cool for about 5mins, they need to make some major updates to the backbone of the game more than anything.

The player count is dropping no matter what. I'm pretty sure I was fighting against actual bots the other day. Like when PUBG had to add bots to fill lobbies, I wouldn't be surprised.
I hope so. Maybe if the player count go low enough they’ll do something different or sell to a better company

Day 1 player here ✌️ Apex in my op is dead and dying quickly, I remember in the earlier seasons, when there was an update, new seasons didn't matter, id stay up abd wqit for that update 😂 do it and then straight into it. Everything in the game was made ajd done with LOVE 😅 they actually put effort into the game and not the $$$ but now theyll try sell you a STICKER for $20 😂😂😂 but yeah thats just me ✌️

I mean Wattson's town takeover does tie into her character a little bit cause I mean her passive lets you get her ultimate instantly if you pop an ultimate accelerant, and there is a charge tower that gives you your ultimate instantly so I mean 🤷
I still want Encore and Lava Flow, as a map, back in the Mixtape modes.

I've been playing for 2 years and I still don't know what a town takeover is
First season back in a year and honestly one of the best seasons of the game I've ever played. Don't understand the hate. People just love to hate
Think this Pathy skin is definitely one of the best yet - still a shame that they haven't standardised *all* of the prestige skins :/ Would have been cooler (potentially) if the colour matched his gloves (or we get an heirloom recolour to match his prestige skin)
Instead of a random high tier loot spot in the map they should make it a low gravity zone where players can double jump in that town.
If they upgraded to even 30 tick rate servers the game would play soooooo much better
bringing back arenas, a higher tick rate, and dialing back sbmm would revive the game. That and not making the excuse that akimbo guns count as new weapons (theyre the same content just regurgitated in a new form)
Give caustic mains their prestige skydive Trail. & Buff all the legends back to what they were

These things are gone because the game is finished. They would need a new engine, high tik servers, great anti-cheat and better matchmaking etc. For EA, a 6 year old game is not getting that. 4000 hrs and I'm so disappointed.

More skins and heirlooms 😅 let’s start the new season with a huge 360$ collection event with a new exotic emote (which other players can join your emote). All new legendary sticker packs and all new mythic Holosprays for worth 50 exotic shards ❤ when the original development team left it was the decline of Apex’s innovation and true lore.

What a great idea to reintroduce town take overs with duel take over where its 2 characters comboed and not just 1 for example a life/octane locatione, a bangalore/new castle location. Vantage and her mom when she comes. It would give us the town take over with a gimmic to them still but allow for lore and characters to advance to story and could also tie into the story for example when loba and rev fought for his skull killing octanes dad as a location under kings canyon like in one of the old bunkers near the edge that collapse.... that kinda shit would make the life of the game be extended alot longer than selling us garbage skins and trying to trick people into paying 4 times for a battle passes per season 2 per each split making 40$ of idiots over those who would buy the bonus once per seaon😂.... go back to the old bp method for fuck sakes😂 no one wants to have to grind ten times more and be lied to by the devs thay its easier
