Some pipes in the bottom for catfish, gravel beds all around. But when it comes to fish to put in, you want your forage first, minnows, bluegills, perch, and crazy enough small fingerling trout are the way to go for raising big fish. Being from MN, I'd love to see walleye, and they also will make the bass a little competitive for food and keep them aggressive, but then add your bass this fall as well, maybe a tiger muskie like Trapper J, and then channel cats, and if you find some flatheads. I also think you should build some woodduck houses for the trees around your place, and then maybe some mallards nest boxes out in the pond

25:14 SHEEW, pick up some cement drain pipe. Leave plants in large pots to help prevent the roots from tapping through. Cinder block piles and small structures for smaller fish to live.

Thats deep for its size. I have 5 acres and I stayed at 12' at the deepest. That's plenty deep enough. Be careful mixing too many types of fish too. Most don't get along well with each other. Just read up on the mix and match pros and cons. Like catfish will eat fish eggs. The best thing I found was to talk to your neighbors about what they did. Good luck

You should put another layer of dirt so when you're dropping structures, you don't bust through the clay. If I recall the top layers only like 3" if you drop a car or big boulder likely to puncture

It won’t hurt anything. Do grading and build ponds for a living. He won’t have problems even if he comes in and puts posts in for dock. Truthfully he would have been fine with just the layer of clay. He over killed it forsure

You should put a sunken pirate ship or a replica of ocean gate that is imploded on the bottom in 18 feet.
If you're putting a vehicle in the new pond make sure you pull the motor.trannny,Differentials, and rad so you don't contaminate the water. with oils.👍lookin good so far.
Do some mid water floating structures, they are insane! Just some pvc pipe with a pool noodle or two to help it float with a cinder block holding it down

As the water fills you should walk around the water line using ONx. As it fills every 3 feet or so and you would know exactly the water contour lines when it’s completely filled.

IBC container frames without the plastic tank are cheap and versatile. Tie the frames together and make big structures. You can run pipes or beams through the frames, you could make a ton of stuff. And large concrete culverts or tees.

I think you should buy a semi trailer drill and cut out a holes in it and fish swim through and then sync it in one of the deepest parts of the pond. Think that would be really cool to see.

Sinking a shipping crate, making the top of it a dock would be kinda cool. Have an open end in the water so fish could swim into it. You could cut holes in different places in the top and sides.

You should build a beefcake jerky sign out of plastic or rubber. Something waterproof and place that in the bottom of your pond. You could possibly use larger pvc pipes and have the ends be open for fish to swim into

Maybe build a couple of floating docks. You could put cameras on them! The fish will love them. We had a floating dock when we were kids and the fish were always hanging around it. Just 9 55 gallon plastic drums and some lumber will make you a great triangle dock and a great video for the Beefcake Construction crew. Add an anchor and a ladder on one side and it would be a great fishing spot. Paint them cool colors. Build three of them.

You should stock tilapia fish in the pond, they're great for keeping algae from taking over your pond bcuz they eat it, they reproduce like CRAZY and thats good cuz the bass love eating them, and they taste AMAZING. You should really look into it!!!
You should put a few of those big round cement drainage tubes in the depth. Then you could have fishing swimming and hiding in the tubes.

That was interesting to hear you say RIP Rap? Most people dont even know what Rip Rap is when I say it? Yes I was land scaper,lily ponds,koi ponds,farmer,logger ect. You could use your Jon boats to deposit beds of cobbles & pea gravel then use them to float down rip rap to cover some of the beds so the crayfish & little minnows have cover to survive & populate ,it helps the frogs too. Hell,it just helps everything & I often find that naturally occurring in streams & lakes that are just full of fish & all these other water critters. They go hand & hand in nature.

I would think carefully about what you would want to be seen above the surface level. A sunken car, and tree would be okay if the car is unseen. They make good homes for fish. But I don't think you'd want anything tacky above surface. It might become old after a while. A pond is a feature that adds alot of value to your land. Good luck, I'm glad you got it working. You should get one of those old huge box tvs to put in the pond, gut it and replace the screen with plexiglass so that if you use the drone you can see them swimming in the tv 📺
