I understand if you don't want to study BDS, it's your decision. Then kindly dont get admitted into the BDS college just for the sake of it, and then later on get a MBBS seat and leave the BDS seat. In this way, the seat gets wasted. Another student who would have genuinely studied BDS could have gotten admitted to the seat which you occupied and then just wasted it.
P.S - BDS is a specialisation course in itself. Every treatment you do is a surgery that you're performing. Everyone isn't meant for BDS. So if you are a BDS student, be proud of the fact.❤️

When I was doing BDS many were still trying for mbbs.
I knew my Juniors, who almost failed trying for mbbs.( BDS is not easy)
I never wasted my time, I got BDS in reputed college for the first time and I just joined.
Immediately after BDS I cracked NEET PG.(Getting MDS seat is more difficult than getting a MD/MS seat)
Got a rank of 237 in the country and 10th in the state (Karnataka)
Got a govt seat in best clg.
Now I'm an ORAL AND MAXILLOFACIAL SURGEON!!
we do facial fractures, aesthetic jaw surgeries, tumors, cancers, Mucormycosis and also clefts...!
I know face and neck better than a medico.

This is the bloody problem didi, in India we have no respect for other streams like BDS, BVsc , BAMS, BHMS and focus only and only on one stream that is MBBS. When the hell will we understand that every stream has its own intrinsic value and importance? These streams are underrated because of lack of respect and jobs. No wonder getting a MBBS seat despite having a BDS seat is considered a story of determination and motivation. I sometimes really hate MBBS students.
PEOPLE always thinks about Mbbs is tough and bds is just teeth but when i finished my bds ..I 'm all wrong...Bds is such Complex one! ..you need Good memory and dexterity skills...Its not like study and throw up in exams...&..I' m really proud to be dentist ❤....Always be proud of your profession fields doesn't matter...but Whatever profession you take ,outshine it❤

Why everyone belittling her? She wants to do MBBS but can't get in it so she prepared for mbbs along with bds that is commendable. She is so determined to be a doctor and do MBBS. She is so persuasive and that's commendable. She is not at all saying that BDS is lower than MBBS. It's just that she wants to do MBBS rather than BDS.

You know not this girl but people who have this mentality that bds isn’t worth it is just sad. I am a bds student you know and everyone around me tells me on my face ki nahi yaar 3 baar ruk lenge bds nahi karenge! That’s not fair! Good for you and stuff but as a dental student let me tell all of you that BDS is as good as MBBS and as tough! Bds requires studying mbbs studies as well as skills extra skills!

I am MDS oral and maxillofacial facial surgery and must say this discrimination comes only because of the same entrance exam for both the courses the students who get better rank opt for mbbs and who are lower in rank get BDS although dentistry is itself a different speciallity and have equal importance when it comes the matter of our teeth,face and oral cavity .

It's objectinifying how indian Community chooses and frivolous dentistry . Dentistry and Medicine is like apple and Mangosteen. How can we compare each other. Sad in countries like India, lack of awareness and general literacy people are fond of emergency speciality ( mbbs) rather than aesthetic speciality (dentistry). According to Royal College of Surgeons London Largest- surgical specialty of Allopathy is dentistry . Dentistry is subject with specialization in undergraduation, hence it's a valued , most expensive and rocket Science subject in western countires like USA Canada etc..often people opt dentistry even after doing engineering in us and Canada and all. Sad scenario, in our country competitive entrance exams, huge expectations of candidates made to opt Dentistry,Ayurveda( first ever system of medicine to evolve) as 2nd 3rd option. Girls like you even make contents about your success story from bds to mbbs, which even makes inferiority complex among bds students stuck in Indian Colleges and frivolous the profession. Dental patrons can pursue pg- MDS option in dentsitry at AIIMS, PGI, JIPMER ETC... hence meritorious hard working Students can reach out with flying colours. Stop comparing dentistry and Mbbs it's like apple and orange. Ps: No hate towards the content creator and victory is great, congratulations..👌

Got 250 in first attempt, 444 in second one, and this time I got 590. Seems like I still won't get any govt college, I was extremely depressed about my situation but after watching this video I feel inspired, this time I'll drop again and Surely get a college. If any BDS student's or aspirant ego going to hurt just think once why they complain BDS only not MBBS not BAMS
Why only BDS?
Because of lower payscale,lesser job opportunities higher investment,and with uncertain growth rate
Instead of changing others mind think how you can upgrade dentistry
Nobody complaints if BDS staff would given assured dental officer... job after dentistry or as a staff he or she can paid 70,000 per month with regular stipend during collage days and could also do fellowship in facial aesthetics and ENT or if goverment regularly offering govt jobs
But situation is exactly opposite So if you really love dentistry think about how can we upgrade this in India because i don't think we are giving justice to dentistry where salary of a BDS doctor in a private collage is 10,000 per month and in covid its 6000 per month
Or private clinic giveo only 5 to 10000rs per month as a salary or sometimes they don't give money to work in their clinics. I am also dentist and this is a story of 90% dental collages and clinics in India

it would have been courageous if you would have completed your bds and got your mds done from delhi aiims . try knowing the jobs of oral surgeons and orthodontist in medicine , try knowing how oral cancers are most common cancers , how emergencies require jaw corrections , how cleft lip palates are corrected and many more . delhi aiims has only one seat for such precious field . no work is bigger or smaller .
But what is her fault if she is simply not interested in this field and doing by parents pressure 🙄

Miss Rashmi, i do not know why u guys keeps lowering the status of BDS. BDS and MBBS are the seperate things. Both are novel profession. Actually u guys do not have enough knowledge, so i think i should argue here. Dentist is the most expensive profession in the developed country. But u guys r from poor country, thats why will not understand its value.

BDS is not a game, it's a specialization in itself. After graduation, u r not a normal physician, but a surgeon. I don't know why people choose BDS as a option rather as a choice. Dentistry has a lot to do, we do most complex surgeries and we earn really well over mbbs doctors once we get skilled. Dentistry is not only about 32 teeth, but also about ur face, head and neck region.
People get in AIIMS Delhi thinks that now r the real best doctors, let me make it more clear, studying in AIIMS Delhi doesn't make sense ki u r the bestest doctor of the world. In medical field, it all depends on urself how well u study, learn and apply in real lyf doesn't matter from which collge u r from.
Btw it depends from people to people in which they r interested in. If u r artistic, calm and hard worker then go for BDS if u don't like then go for MBBS only if u have interest in medical field.

Don't request any one for strategy. They will recomand you to study 10 - 12 hours in a day. It totally depends upon you. Try to complete 97 chapters as soon as possible. Then revise again again. Now NTA are asking easy question compare to last year's. Complete 1 chapter then solve problems. Then mark the mistakes and revise. Ok take care of your health and study.

If you solve all problems of Dc Pandey, you will learn the technique to solve all problems of Physics. But Read Ncert first for Concept. If you solve the whole book of Dc Pandey you will surely get 160+ in physics.

I think you will have to pay the entire course fee to get your documents back if you are dropping out in the middle. Bcz 1 student lost their chance and we have to pay for it, It depends on the college.
