- Here's "Ain't It the Truth" (deleted from "Cabin in the Sky") in stereo for the first time ever. Lena Horne said it was felt that to show a black woman singing in a bath went beyond the bounds of moral decency in 1943. A reprise of this song by Louis Armstrong was also cut, so maybe it had more to do with Yip Harburg's lyric. Harold Arlen wrote the music.

Opening trumpet cadenza brilliantly sets the stage...could be Louis Armstrong or one of the MGM Orchestra members. The phrasing is Pops-like.
