Revit Smart: How to make a GREAT Area Plan

Hey team this is a companion video to the other area plan video I uploaded. It's intended for more intermediate/advanced users - it's pretty much the same just with a lot less explanation because those users already know a lot of what I talk about.

very good i start learn revit, in the area hen i try to make one floor whtih 4 appartements how to make the areas fot those 4 apparts.
i tray too learn how to make but i dont find somehone to explain.

Hey mate, do you mean you want a different area schedule for each appartment?
If thats the case you can make a new area type for each appartment (click the dropdown box under the room & area ribbon then 'area and volume computations' & create a new type and draw your area plan as per normal for one appartment each plan THEN create a new area schedule and choose the new area type you've just made.
Alternatively, you can show all of the areas on the one area plan but add a comment to each of the areas for each unit (like Living/alfresco/porch of Unit 4 have the comment 'Unit 4' then duplicate the are schedule as needed and add a filter in so it only reads the areas with the comment 'Unit 4'
