There is literally just spica and bjerg In comms
That was depressing af to watch
@nynetynyne I agree that Doublelift had a bad tournament and TSM should look to upgrade, and his mentality recently has been really shitty. But this is revisionist history, DL was really good at S6 worlds and at 2018 MSI/Worlds, then was solid in 2019 internationally as well. It's not really a mental block, the players at worlds are just better. It's not like he underperformed at worlds either, he wasn't a top player at his position ever in 2020, he just got exposed when the competition levelled up
It broke my heart when he was like "I have to smite, don't let them get it" and it just went quiet... and he was like "Oh they got it". You could hear how bad he wanted to just rag on them. At least the 5 man sleep made more sense with that pro view, no one could even tell it was a 5 man sleep since people were out of vision.
You already know it's going to hell if Spica is the only player trying to do something.
So basically Spica did everything he could and none of his team mates stepped up.

@@markez4730 He's not completely wrong tho, DoubleLift is at the tail end of his career and won't compete at the highest level being Worlds, bjergsen, after retiring and moving to head coach, he doesn't have the same drive to actually compete himself. Bio isn't that good. Spica is still a rookie so no one was expecting him to compete that well. and BB is super inconsistent. You'd be lying to yourself if you expected TSM to do better than 0-6. Even their Group was pretty hard and people considered that the easier group. For an NA team like TSM any group is a death group.
@@TheRealShadowPvP No one expected them to go a complete 0-6. Atleast one win was everyone's minimum expectations. If TSM played at the level they did in NA playoffs, they could have easily won 1 game out of the 6.
Quite frankly I have the same opinion as you, player to player.
Bio is obviously the clear weak link, so DL's ability to perform is handicapped. And yes, DL is getting old. But same could be said for rekkles and deft. Tho, doublelift probably had the longer career.
No one expected Bjergsen to perform so poorly. Everyone expected playoffs bjergsen to be at worlds. If we had to compare Nemesis to Bjergsen, I think majority would agree Bjergsen is the better player.
You're right about BB, played strong side the entire tournament. Still no impact., still feeds.
And Spica, well no one expected him to perform so well, even with the entire team dragging him down.
Tbf, its Spica's first worlds. DLift, Bjergsen and Bio had that same positive mindset in 2016. I think its the constant failure to perform at Worlds are causing "negative" mindset from the three vets of TSM
The way Bjerg pauses to think at the end 😢
Part of me is hoping he either sucks as a coach or hates it and then mid season in a split he comes back brings back tsm from bottom of the list and does really well in worlds. This cant be how bjergsens pro career ends he has to come back and finish his story. This is Na faker we are talking about. The mechanical god that needed to find his footing.

Thank all of you, for all these years and all the stories you guys brought to us, despite so much hate.
Since Bjerg retired, I might not watch LCS anymore, but stories in all these years will always be my favorite in esports.
As a bjerg fan myself i understand that sentiment but keep some part of you open to new opportunities to love pro league of legends. I myself may not have as much time anymore to watch everything but the invisible bond i share with other fans and even the players who seem so much closer to us than some larger than life sports stars... thats the real pro league experience.
@@hohemheim1985 Yeah I can understand that. Esports bring a lot for me...Friends overseas and from different countries. I’m not American and I even can’t speak English very well at first. Parth is the worst coach Ive ever seen. Usually a coach is motivating, and is the anchor of the team. With parth you see NONE of that. he is so soft spoken and literally lets the players make the pregame speeches because he is too weak to motivate his own team. I have a feeling that TSM went 0-6 because of their coaching staff. You never hear a gameplan , they always talk about what they shouldnt be doing... This guy even shit talks his own players, calling their plays “desperate” with a negative tone. I would understand that statement if he had some passion and anger behind it. but nah, all you feel is hopelessness from him. Parth, youre probably a cool guy, but you are a HORRIBLE COACH. Spica's got a heart of a champion, anything but a quitter. Regardless of how dire the game or whole situation of the competition seemed, he gave it his all. even if he retired from pro play we might see him in for fun tournaments like the eu/na clash
The ending hurt so bad. My king 😭🥺
that ending is so heart breaking honestly :c
How does Spica doesn't yell "I PUT THEIR WHOLE TEAM TO SLEEP, GET IN THERE!!!" on the 5 man sleep vs GenG.
Hes just a cute rookie. Cant yell at Bjerg and Doublelift

DL: "No one's going to remember us going 0-6 or 2-4"
Everyone: FIRST TIME A FIRST SEED WENT 0-6 AT WORLDS.
... "Winning MSI doesn't even matter." - (announcer in the background: NA spring split died for TSM's world run sins, and now MSI is next on the chopping block. Find out next time on DL Says Things!)
LOLLOLOLOLO
Yeah, everyone is gonna remember TSM being the only number 1 seed to go 0-6. Literally every worlds going forward, when a high seed plays poorly they will be compared to this TSM squad.
And for everyone saying that isn't true, I'm a big time sports fan. When an NBA team chokes in the playoffs, they always bring up the golden state warriors blowing a 3-1 lead in the finals and ignore that they have the nba record for most wins in the regular season. When an nfl team is in danger of going 0-16 they always talk about the Detroit lions and Cleveland browns. If there's every a tournament favorite or a number 1 seed starting off 0-2 or 0-3 then i guarantee that reddit, the analysts, and the casters are gonna bring this tsm team up.
I almost cried when Bjergsen took that pause...
I Think this video shows a little about how much we miss behind the scenes as viewers thats its always easy to point to one play as the mistake but this goes to show What everyone says There are more going on then just the game there alot of prep and work behind the scenes that are important and can lead to negative results Imagine winng na then going to ur first wolds and being quarantine in a new country alone for 2 weeks just that as one part and seeing the team as they talk about wins and loses after hearing about the scrims. This video taught me more about the game and the Work behind the scenes Its crazy how much we dont see as viewers and it gives me a new ideas as a player and fan. Even if the result isnt what we wanted or the team wanted u still Can take away and learn. makes me want to start practice On learning to coach and get better as player. Anyways Well done video Even tho im sure theres alot we missed in the edits what we got to see showed alot.
Very Last Minutes
Interviewer: Whenever you think about the future and coming seasons, and yourself and your play, ¿how do you feel?
Bjersgen: [Starts looking around in complete silence]
Me: Who is cutting onions in my room?
Yeah Baby BAYLIFE BABY Yeah!!!!
Yk tbh the 0-6 wouldnt be so upsetting to me if it wasnt for Bjergsen. The guy has been the best mid in NA consistently and he shouldve gotten a good international run 😰
I am not ready for this even a little bit.
I don't think anybody is ready for this one... hrrrk
This video literally shows what is exactly wrong with TSM.
Poor Coaching
Poor mindsets by the staff
Very bad Drafting
Players basically not giving a shit
Failure to ever work on issues instead just talk and joke around
Too focused on what happened in NA before the tournament
Failure to communicate as a team and keep ego's in check
Literally go watch Team Liquid's video and its night and day.
So many things fundamentally wrong with TSM and this video highlights them all clearly.
After watching this its really not shocking Bjergsen decided to retire.
Him moving to a coaching role and a complete overhaul of the staff and coaches is a must. This team needs an entirely new atmosphere and outlook on everything.
Looking back at worlds TL made the necessary changes they needed to perform in groups. Sure they didn't make it out either but they showed up the best for NA. FLY even managed to make changes and show up. TSM did nothing and while DL is sitting here talking about the gap widening it is for him and TSM the other 2 teams from NA managed to actually perform and take games off good teams. So another thing is player mindsets and thinking like this. It's as if he believes he is better or TSM was better than the other NA teams and got hard gapped. But in reality TSM was the worst NA team at worlds and were the only ones to get hard skill gapped.
NA mald KEKW
Naw family, it BAYLIFE!, winning worlds was a meme
Naw family, it BAYLIFE!, winning worlds was a meme
Interestingly, from the comms shown, every second line was "can't go" or "it's losing". You simply can't win games with that mindset.
At this point the video is more appeasing to haters than fans
Thorin's gonna have a field day with this
man... this one hit differently
The first 11 minute especially the interviews at around 9:00 was so painful knowing what happened.
😆 🤣 😂 😹 what happened?
Naw family, it BAYLIFE!, winning worlds was a meme
What happened at worlds was making history.
that last bjerg interview where bjerg was already thinking of leavin the roster and coaching the next iteration of tsm...
one thing i have to give it to TSM their produciton quality its on another level compared to other teams ,i literally felt like im in a movie . THANK YOU TSM and bjergsen for everything you gave us. (from a G2 fan)
7:00 xd that’s what they couldn’t do
Watch out for Young Jack in the future, he will save the NA scene
*Peter staring straight at BB*
"yeah its definitely devolved into egoing on our opponents as hard as possible* kek
Just stay positive. It happens at times. Wish you all the best.
Sounds like they still need to work on their mental and communication at high stakes. Also, just from the footage, I feel like the coach couldve been better at motivating and not showing disappointment.
yeah who the hell is this guy lol "yeah were used to always playing from behind 0-3 guys haha" like what? i feel like thats not what you should be saying as a coach
They do need to work on it but its definitely hard. Mentality is one of the hardest things to change. I definitely feel it for them, the environment as well as circumstances didn't help either. I'm not a tsm famboy but man the majority of fans suck, instead of supporting their team they flame and contribute a toxic environment. They won Lcs its not like they didn't win any trophies for the season.
@@MrJamChin they might have won, but as a fan when you see them fail at every step of the way up, right until the final hurdle it really doesnt fill you with much faith or hope. i agree that fans shouldnt just shit on the team, but you cant honestly expect them to still chant tsm and truly believe in the team. Especially when even most of their wins come off the back of ridiculous mistakes made by their opponent or from situations that they should never find themselves in.
@@kiekekuikeke7427 I understand its hard as a fan but its equally as hard for the players even more so imo. I can imagine DL having ptsd in regarding worlds and the memes won't help.
@@MrJamChin They do it to themselves. DL is notorious for flaming his teammates (especially his supports). Bjergsen is known to be passive when playing at worlds. DL takes a giant flaming shit the moment he see's any half decent ADC... See rekkles's name - Immediately shit a brick. See Ruler's name - immediately shit a brick.
The environment of TSM has been fucked for ages... Even when they had the "Super team" it was a toxic environment and their mentality was dogshit. But also you can't say "Oh its the fans" these are all veterans who have played for multiple years (Outside of BB and Spica who ironically were TSM's best players at worlds) not to mention players like DL have been on other teams and done the same thing with those teams.
Thoorin prepping his 3d printed regi fleshlight he's going to need a new one after he's done with this.
thorin doesn't even know what he talks about half the time. He just constantly rages and rages and never shut's up moaning. he's an actual idiot
@@craigsaddington6430 i don't think so. He does what sells. And he's opinions are valid.
@@Szeksp doesn't need to have an attitude when talking about League though
That last scene.. Litteral chills....
behind the scenes of the legendary airport speedrun
When i die i want TSM Reginald to lower me into my grave, so he can let me down one last time.
Nice copypasta
Bruh why didnt they sub in treatz? He was doing so well in soloq and they had nothing to lose.
Who didnt do well in soloq ?
@@jl.c bot lane didn't do well in worlds buddy and he hit the highest rank of all na and eu players
@@calvinzhou4523 but if Dlift plays worse with him because of playstyle clashes it wouldnt help. that was the reason they subbed him out in the first place.
@@kiekekuikeke7427 I mean they're already out of the tourney in week 2. Why not giving him a chance to play in at least 1 game ?
@@tudoan3654 because DL is an a hole and didn’t want to play with him.
bro bb looked vincent in the eyes with pain in his and said please can we get one win, I legit felt the pain
Meanwhile Vincent walked blindly into the enemy team for the 4th time at 5 minutes XD
30 seconds of silence for Bjergsen said it all. How much sadness. Miss you king.
King was the worst midlaner at worlds
"No one would remember that we went 0-6 or 2-4 at worlds"... oh they do Doublelift lol
Doublelift already told us, sucky scrims gave them zero confidence on stage, makes sense
AKA they play it super safe and passive when they don't know what to do. As always. They need a massive overhaul. No more cheesy ass speeches. No more touching each other's thighs. Just fucking play. Its aggravating watching them play like shit year after year. I have no idea how they maintain that big of an ego playing so inconsistently.
This whole video they kept saying stuff like "we play best from behind. We can go 3-0 this last half" what team wants to encourage a mentality like that? Play your best from the start. They were never serious at any point. They were there to chill, not to compete
@@ProlIy need some aggressive play styles all the other teams have those and they crush
Every other NA team as well, but I guess TSM had a special case for sucking lol
This is such a horseshit. G2 burned exactly for the opposite reasons: they were doing so well in scrims they didn't anticipate Damwon coming that big. In contrast with last year, where they were winning 20% of scrims and got themselves to finals.
@@Arrinao g2 ver much knew damwon was fucking good. You need t o stop taking everything they say seriously.
I’m so sorry it just went downhill, going 0-6 in such a tourney.... but you are all still pros, still the best of NA and still legends!
Bjergsenが数々の魅力的なプレイを見せてくれたおかげで、何年もlolを楽しくプレイできました。ありがとうございました、お疲れ様でした。
30:26 that was possibly the worst play from a team I‘ve ever seen
34:54 is worse even Bronze and Iron players would’ve fought that, hell even a monkE would’ve
I love Biofrost positioning lol
Leona was AFK
What I would love to see is a new unheard of player stepping into Bjergs role. Someone from Academy or even outside of that.
It's a tough way to go out that's for sure. What seems obvious to me is the team has to reinvent themselves. Play a style that is unique, not simply reliant on solo-skill. Best of luck to TSM in 2021.
This pandemic and the quarantines really took a toll on these guys. As an avid fan, hoping for the best in terms of their mental state. It's the least we can do.
it wasnt the pandemic, it was the joke of a coaching staff and their horrible mentality going through worlds.
