- In today's video, I'll be opening and reviewing (6) 2023-24 Panini Select Hanger Boxes. These boxes sell for $22-30 a box. Each box contains 1 20-card pack. Look for a variety of prizm parallels including the ultra rare Tiger and Zebra, as well as numbered cards Blue Tectonic(#'d/99), Teal White Pink(#'d/49), Tie Dye(#'d/25), Gold Tectonic(#'d/10), Gold(#'d/10), , Green(#'d/5), Black White Gold(1-of-1's), and Black Finitie(1-of-1's). Chase after autographs such as Youth Explosion Signatures and Selection Committee Signatures. Insert sets span the likes of Neon Icons, Thunder Lane, Lodestar, and Select Certified. Select highlights the new rookie class of Victor Wembanyama, Scoot Henderson, Brandon Miller, Keyonte George, Jamie Jaquez, and Ausar and Amen Thompson.

🃏🃏🃏🃏 for FUN FACTOR: Hangers are bangers??? I think this is a vestige of pre-boom. Yes, these are fun. The tectonic parallels really pop and you'll get three a box, plus a few other parallels. Select knows the rainbow. It rides it.
🃏🃏for VALUE: While the Tectonics will come out of the gate hot. They won't stay that way. Select never saw a card or parallel it didn't like. The lack of numbered cards from the opening, I've seen is a red flag. The hanger format is just as juicy looking as the Megas and Blasters. The ceiling is insane!!!
🃏🃏 for DESIGN: I've beaten the card design into the ground.
🃏🃏🃏 for COLLECTABILIY: You may have met the Tectonic before. It's also known in Topps circles as the Raywave parallel. It's mildly sought after. So, I suspect the same will apply here. Although, it's the "new kid on the block" for Panini basketball collectors.

Numbered cards don't seem to come out quite as frequently from the rips I've watched. Megas are still king I think.

Welcome to the hobby! It def gives each release something to chase. It's also a double-edged sword. The more parallels there are, the more devalued each one becomes.

I think these are more expensive than they should be. I would probably go with a blaster for just a few dollars more.
I think the tectonic is a cool art for collecting regardless of rarity/value
It is a great looking parallel. I think people might want to know what it is before they rush out and buy a box thinking it's some never before seen parallel.

The courtside 4-5x the Concourse. So I'd say $400-$500 but that will dip within a week.
