I was diagnosed with a manifestation of RF at age 38 And Strep arthritis. I am now 54 and have huge inflammation bouts every couple months. Pain levels are off the charts Can you help me? My ASO-Titers is almost 800 today even though I have not had strep throat in years. My joints swell huge and drs are baffled suspecting a infected joint But unable to rule out During my initially illness I was bed ridden for months and months If the sheets touched my legs I would scream . Pls note no carditis at that time

Please consult a functional medicine practitioner who can help treat your specific condition.
Also, you may want to look at the LRA by ELISAACT testing program that can help with your immune health. You can find more information about the testing here... www.betterlabtestsnow.com/delayed-allergy-tests/
Here is another resource where I speak more about that topic: ua-cam.com/video/oc0zoSsQFLY/v-deo.html

@@DrRussellJaffe I have been referred to a internal medicine dr. But Covid is complicating my wait time. My pain dr questions if I have septic joints?? But If I did It wouldn't just go away and come back in another large joint a month later Its a viscous cycle. Dr's tried to use needle to get fluid but could not. My pain levels are constant.Do YOU think my aso titers of 800 is the cause of my swelling?

It's under the pathological threshold so he's ok as far as ASO level goes.

A high ASO titer is reflective of an infection or lingering inflammatory response.
Please consult with your practitioner as to what it means for you specifically .
If you are looking at ways to decrease inflammation and improve repair, support the immune system. Then consider the LRA test : www.betterlabtestsnow.com/delayed-allergy-tests/
