HI Anthony, I'd keep whichever one is in the best original condition. If they are in the same condition, I'd keep the 10K mileage one as you can never go wrong with lower miles. That's my opinion. Good luck and I look forward to see what path you take!

Anthony, I am always impressed with your collection. We are a Cadillac family. My Dad bought his first one in 1959. Then every two years or so after that. Finally in 1975 with a triple black Eldorado Convertible. [10k miles] Fast forward to 1991, I bought my first one, a 1981 triple yellow Seville. Yes the awesome bustle back Seville with the V-8 with the 4-6-8 motor which I quickly unplugged and enjoyed for 10 years. I would own another one of these. Today I have a 1984 Dark Sapphire Sedan DeVille DeElegance with a red interior, and a glass moonroof 73k. And my 75 white Eldorado convertible, with a black top and interior 32k. I guess its in our blood. Your new buy is a keeper!

I'm so jealous. I love these cars, and the prices are going nuts. I had an 82 Coupe DeVille back in 02 after high school with the craptastic HT4100. I also had a 1980 Coupe DeVille I found for $400 that a hot rodder cut the roof off of. He did a really good job trimming the windshield frame off for a finished look, and I couldn't pass it up. I kept that thing for 8 years and stored it in winter. That one had the much better 6.0 big block with the TH400 trans. It also had a 4bbl carb and was pre-cylinder deactivation. Loved them both. I sold the 80 about 5 years ago.

I have a 1987 Brougham D'Elegance I've decided to stop restoring and sell. I've lost my energy because of this Covid 19. I'm an elderly man. It's a rock-solid California car, 105 K box one miles, never been out of Anaheim Hills until I shipped it to Arizona. So far I put brand new Vogue tires , front end rebuild, all major brakes, new Air shocks to the rear, HD shocks to the front. New Windshield, New dash shell, Major service including dropping trans pan and filter, drain rear end oil and fill with new. balance driveline, all original.
The Bad: Needs paint and top, Valve cover gaskets need replacement. Car sat in back yard 7 years uncovered. air ride pump inop, A/C has a slow leak. Drivers window motor fine, track is slipping. I'm over $9.000 invested and another $4500 would cover top quality stripping of top and paint, and new padded top and factory new tri-coat paint, SAME COLORS AS THIS BLUE D'Elegance in this video.
It took me forever to find a virgin unmolested Brogham D'elegance!!! Rappers buy them and customize spending as much as $40.000 on hydraulics and airbrush paint. Clean carfax, GOOD chrome bumpers, I have all new fillers for headlights. gas tank door, rear bumper fillers have been replaced, very solid. New hood crown OEM for after paint shop. $210 NAPA police duty battery. Orig floormats. I need to get it out of my driveway. 34 year old car with no place to go but increase in value, but only if new owner buys Top of the line paint and top! I will settle for $7000. markiecox2@aol. com I will put on eBay next week.

With all the experience you have in these beautiful cars that you manage to come up with, I'm sure you'll make a sentimental choice. Keep in mind that these are materialistic items and you find a lot of them through your UA-cam channel and your friends. If you feel sentimental about the one with 25,000 miles then keep it. You know exactly the shape it's in. What's 15,000 miles any way? The other one doesn't have the dent in the hood. It's missing the spare and when you get to looking, there might be some more things wrong wit it. Boils down to, condition, sentimentality, toss up of mileage difference, and the love you have for these vehicles. These cars are back in time itself. I remember 1990. I was working my tail off. It was a good year.

I would fully detail both of them, then place them side by side for a slow and careful inspection of condition. On the basis of condition alone I would choose which to keep and which to sell. Both are super low miles - but one of them is going to be better in condition. If there is no real difference in condition then I would keep the 10k mile '92 and sell the 25k mile '92.

This body style (1980-1992) was the longest running Cadillac Model in History due to its popularity. Back in the early 1980's, many big Executives drove these, not just elderly folks. They were "The" car of choice to show Ultimate Luxury & Prestige. In 1980-81, Jim Weichert (of Weichert Realtors) drove one practically identical to this; same colors. Just went to show these folks could've easily afforded a German Car, but went with the top-of-line DeVille. An absolutely stunning work of craftsmanship back then & still today!

They are identical and unless you want to keep two of the same car, which I can appreciate hesitating to sell either one! After all, they are not making these beauties any longer. And it won't hurt to keep it for a period of time, and just really get to know this one, drive it and enjoy it for a season or two and then sell the first Sapphire Blue one that you have had. As for "old" tires... If they ain't weather checked and dry-rotten to Hell, you can get away with safely driving on them... At best, you'll make it anywhere you're heading. At worst, they'll usually give you plenty of warning that they're gonna come apart... The first thing they'll do is either lose the entire tread in a strip, or you'll FEEL a horrible ply separation... But they ain't gonna "blow out" suddenly... If they do lose pressure QUICKLY, they'll "tell you" by whining like a Banshee first.
    Cheers, Brother!

To own 2, the two are exact make and model down to tire knobby, both are in as close condition as you will ever cross in a lifetime. And of course this is the tale end of an era, (very distinct era) extremely well identified style/look of Cadillac (full sized 4-dr Sedan) this will never happen again. Everything i said here, so because of the ridiculously odds of such luck, i say you............
My intuition says clean up and sell the triple blue you already own. I'm new to your channel, but not new to having love for great American auto design and this here of that last era of true beauty, design, elegance & craftsmanship that this country took real pride in. This squared look was beautiful. Sorry some the words, i drank few beers (absolutely No driving though) so ty, looks like a kickass channel.

It would be awesome if you got a 1977 Cadillac Seville because Betty White aka the First Lady of Television once drove a 1977 Cadillac Seville in a beautiful light green color called "Sea Mist Green." Betty's Cadillac had a white landau roof, white wall tires with wire wheel covers, a white leather interior, an AT&T car phone (which being the 1970's was so big it probably had to ride shotgun in the front passenger seat), and a little nameplate on the dashboard that simply reads "Betty."

Keep the one you like the most, if you like them equal then keep the one you already own, you already know that it works perfect, while the "new" one could be hiding some potential issues because it has been sitting still for longer.
10K gets more profit too ;)

I had one just like it. It didn't have the 5.7 though. Great Find!

I have never seen any one who likes what I like I like I love the old luxury with mammoth size ans a big block to match. Been watching your channel for a bit. Old farmers love big lincoln's but I'm biased 90to 92 brougham crush it.

The Oldsmobile 307 V8 engine was standard .... and it has the optional 350 for 250.00 more ... Small prices for upgrades .

I don't remember what model year it was but I had a brougham in Metalic rootbeer brown with brown velour interior and it had the quad headlights which I always liked better than the huge dingle headlight but that brown was a nice color. You're making me want one again. I was 23years old when I bought my first one slightly used from Vic Alfanso Cadilac and just a few years later bought a brand new 92 in Graphite metallic with dove grey leather again from Vic

Sell it Anthony. Before the Tappan bridge was rebuilt my buddy working for McClain bridge and overpass inspection told me never drive over the Tappan z bridge. It was ready to fall apart.

Hey Anthony, keep the Brougham you just got. It only has 10,000 miles plus the gold ornamentation & gold pinstripes look really rich!!!! Or keep both & have one for Mrs Anthony to drive. 😁

Get as many you can handle. Slab one out Southcoast style, put some 84s or 83s upon it fifth wheel, woodgrain wheel and as many speakers you can fit in it. Put few switches on it and keep one original. One day I'm come check your inventory and get me a clean fresh old school Cadillac. Keep on grabbing em up.
