Welcome home guys! Definitely a bummer it ended this way. But like you said could have been way worse and a lot further away. Bertha is a champ in my book. Narration videos will be cool to watch I'm all in for them.
Wow you guys have not had the best luck with Bertha lately!! Hope she gets fixed and back on the road asap!! And we know about those hard rain leaks in the van haha duke has quite a bit of leaks!
Wow man,Bertha just wasn’t having it all!!!! But it could definitely be wayyyy more worse she could have blew her transmission or a motor failure,so happy that it happened within a few hours from home vs 3 or 4 days into the trip pat I couldn’t be anymore prouder of the o’l gal she put on 1 heck of a trip nice job everyone.
Well the driveshaft is bent unfortunately so it's getting repaired, so even if I would have attempted replacing the ujoint it would have had to go somewhere anyway and at that point we were so close to home and just wanted to get there.

Ugh yeah it hasn’t been great lol 😭 haven’t gotten the van back yet it’s been 20 days… hopefully soon!

It definitely could have gone worse! We said the same thing! For what we put her through she did great!

What? Don't you have a hammer and som pliers? It isn't that hard to throw a ujoint in roadside, and way cheaper than a tow
