Thought this was gonna be like the wurkkos TS26S… but actually nothing like it… interesting light… more of a thrower.. but I don’t know if I can get over the beam pattern… keep up the great work

Ya, it’s not too bad. Now that my review is done, I may put some 519as in

Great review! I love my sr15 I've always wanted something just like that acebeam but smaller so it fits in my pocket and also a cheaper than the acebeam lol.

Ya, I was surprised it was even close to the p18, not as impressive, but still super powerful

Good review, I want to like it, but i hate that flower beam pattern it makes. I have an acebeam light that's the same thing. 5000k emitter swap might help 😊

I’m really hoping some 519a LEDs make the light salvageable. Honestly for me, in person, it’s not too bad, it’s a cool little light. Would I buy it? Nope, not when u can get a convoy s12 for cheaper and better

I like how in stepped mode you have to double click to get into turbo but in steppeless mode it ramps up to turbo and can even be turned on and off in turbo. Definitely a great ui. I also like how from moonlight the light you can get into the other modes a ton of lights have to be turned off then put into low.

Hmm, that Acebeam's beam pattern is very similar. I wonder if I overreacted hating on it so much, but in saying that, I still don't enjoy it with my OCD lol . If something is even a little off, such as a bright outer ring, it bugs the hell out of me.

I watched your review on your channel earlier and can't say I'm a fan of its petal-like beam. 😀 Someone on Reddit managed to partially solve the problem by diffusing the lens with a piece of translucent plastic but doing that also lowers the overall lumen output.

Haha, you’re just particular my dude and that’s ok. Hopefully this will look better with the 519a

@@marcgossling8260 I think many flashlight enthusiasts would be particular, Marc. Otherwise they would just be Muggles like everyone else who sees a flashlight as a flashlight. 🙂
Throwy LEDs like the SFT-25R are ill suited for shallow reflectors. If Sofirn had chosen the Nichia 519a, Samsung LH351d or the Luminus SST-20 the beam pattern would have been much better.

@@StratmanII The wurkkos TS26S is a quad Nichia light with a fantastic beam. Sounds like about what you’re looking for.

@@PennytheBernedoodle I've contemplated getting the TS26s, but prefer the Anduril version, which hasn't materialized since early 2024. I don't want to buy a TS26s only for Wurkkos to announce the Anduril equipped, TS26 later. 😞 My present quad lights are the Sofirn IF25A and Wurkkos TS25 and as you know, both have Anduril 2.
