Very cool project. I've actually been thinking of buying an efficient low powered inverter. I do have an inverter but it's not that efficient plus it's modified sine wave. I might try this out one day and heck maybe even hook a few of them together
Hi, can you please post a scope image of the 240Vac waveform? Is your inverter capable of regulating its 240Vac output? How hot does the SMPS transformer that you are using? 400W inverter, at the least 400 / 12.5 = 32A, are the DC power input terminals rated to that current? Wouldn't it be more efficient to place the DC input terminals near the switching MOSFETs? Where have you published the schematic diagram and comprehensive parts list? Can you please publish an input power vs output power efficiency graph?
damm... this looks very efficient, I thought you would need very huge amount of cooling and temperature stabilization with low efficiency, but it seems very fine😅. Very useful for remote areas where battery can be charged via solar and work in night as power source for small appliances.
I used two 0.22 Ohm resistors in parallel as a shunt. I was written in my code when the current consuming under 15 ampere the inverter will run very well but when it is rise up then the inverter will shut down, you can change it to increase your Inverter watt

Things like component editing (pin length especially), track sizes, solder pads, etc. You're teaching well, but I feel limeted if I can't customize the circuits to suit a project

Hi sir actually i am from bangladesh. I make this project today, but i facing a big problem. With 100watt load i have 320v from direct transformer pin output. But when i add schottky diode and 400v150uf capacitor, voltage get down to 50v dc without load. What is my problem? Help me sir.

How is that possible bro, I believed that it's very important to rewind the atx transformer to get even 100w output as you are only using the 3.3v winding rest is waste, Impossible to get 400w bud

IRF840 mosfet is main switch device.. 500V 8A should be plenty for 230V@400W right?
