i mean... i get expecting to want Bo to run more... but after the game hearing he had 3 fractures in his back... i can understand not wanting him to go full Lamar or Jayden and just run every play
And… Jaden Daniels and Lamar Jackson have great running backs on their team. They’re not leading their team in rushing. Nix has nothing like that. The Broncos lost this game because they can’t run the ball and they can’t stop the run.
They need a running game to control the clock and keep the opposing offense off the field. They should be developing a solid rushing attack from the first game. That way they can figure out the things they need to make it work. They need to stick with it. If it's a focus all season, you have time to address any shortcomings. Every team that used the run went forward to the next round. Running the ball supports Bo and opens up the pass and play action. It keeps a team from being one dimensional. The defense needed a rest to stay fresh. Bo was passing. He missed a couple of throws. There were crucial drops. The drives were cut short. So there was the defense, back on the field. They wanted to feature the run in this playoff game. It was kind of late. You can't have a sporadic running game. It needs to be consistent. Make it a focus, Sean Peyton. It's important.
Another weakness, Vance Joseph as DC. Our defense was trash last quarter of the season and Vance never adjusted. Case in point James Winston for Browns threw for 500 yards and 5 TDs, only to be benched two weeks later. Terrible scheme, tackling, and far too many wide open receivers.
Play calling was not the problem. In the words of Payton manning and marshawn Lynch. Even bad play calling as a NFL team you should still be able to make something positive out of it. Play calling was not the issue whatsoever.
Great season. Scariest observation from the game…we came in thinking talent upgrades necessary for next year are RB, TE, ILB, WR, and FS. None of those would have made a difference to the way Buffalo’s OL dominated the game.
Let's not get too excited. The Broncos were finally able to beat all the bad teams on their schedule, however, they were unable to beat any of the good teams on their schedule.
I'm excited about the Bronocs future no matter how much you want to rain on this Bronco parade. This was a rebuilding year with streaks of awesomeness on full display. If Sean Payton can do this much with all the cap hit we're dealing with in his first year I can't help but think that things are going to continue to get better for years to come. So maybe you might wanna start shifting your perspective around a bit.
They beat the teams they were supposed to beat, and were competitive against the elite teams. That sounds like a playoff team with a first round exit, which is exactly what they were. Not sure if you’ve watched much Broncos football over the last 8 years, but that is objectively positive trajectory and better than what it’s been, which is a reason to be excited. Go Broncos!
@@jacbobh I give them credit for beating the bad teams. It's the first time in nearly a decade they've been able to do that. They just aren't good enough to beat the good teams.
Bo is a quarterback not a running back. It’s not his job to run more. He don’t need to get any more injuries either already playing with 3 fractures in his back. I can’t stand these dudes they don’t seem to know what they are talking about. Smh the season sucked! Was not good. Have a lot to work on! Lost every single competitive game. No running game . Only one wide receiver is a threat. Offense line sucks. Defense sucks! Not a good season at all.
If the Broncos had a running back that could avg. 4.5 yards a carry, then I would agree with you. But they don’t, so you have to utilize the weapon’s that you have and he can run. HOWEVER, The injury is also a huge factor.

The Bills were using Matt Milano as a spy ob Bo. Watch the game and you'll see Milano mimicing Bo's movements.
Broncos Linebackers are to light and to slow... very smart though
That's the position I want to see drafted high in April. We need an elite run stopping LB. Singleton is good but I think we need better.
@cmfranklin1079 I agree, more than just one teams running back pushed us back on occasion.

We need a Josh Jacobs/Jonathan Taylor type of back.

He was benched because the browns didn’t want to win games, not because DTR is actually a better qb lol
Too much rotation at RB, just draft Skattbo and beef up the D-line, in free agency get a true ILB.
Yeah, trying to run the ball on 2nd down a lot was a bad game plan. Especially against a team like the Bills who dominated possession time on offense.
Terrible play calling on both sides of the ball. Can we not call a slant for Christ sake?!?!?
so true...not a one

We did call plants, our WR aren't getting open. It's not a new problem.
@@realsourced93you fans will be why this Denver team never wins a SB cause you make excuse after excuse for Sean and his bad play calling!!!
I really hate it when Schlereth drops a truth bomb and forgets to flush.

Peyton kept stalling it they should had 20 points

If the field goal wasn't blocked. They went toe to toe with the chiefs. So that is irrelevant

We should have hired Dan Quinn.
Special teams had a lot of missed tackles.
There was absolutely no “truth bomb” in anything he said, lol. Just clickbait garbage. He didn’t say anything that other people haven’t said.
how do you know if they couldn't run the ball....???????????? they didn't try to run it.
This team over achieved! However, a foundation has been built. I for one am optimistic about the future.
If thats true allow another qb to play
I think the coaches did the best with what they had. We have a bunch of positions to fill this off season. Rb, TE, WR, Lb, Cb
Sean is at fault for the lack for the lack of talent on this team. You all need to stop lying to yourselves
@@brite1217 yeah its called a 80 million cap hit.
Real simple rookie QB needs 💯 top running back Veteran QB average R.B.ok
