They are one of my favorite groups and I promise y'all will not be disappointed
StayC is one of the few groups that has an impeccable discography, no songs are bad and I haven't skipped a single one since their debut (which was in November 2020). Their songs are different from each other but they make sense at the same time, you know? I think it would be worth it from this video for you to listen in the chronological order of the releases and make a video reacting to a guide. The order would be - So Bad (debut), ASAP (first comeback), Stereotype, RUN2U, Beautiful Monster, Poppy (their Japanese debut) and between them go listening to the albums that are worth every penny and every separate time to listen. They have videos singing the medley of their albums on UA-cam and it's a masterpiece, vocals, visuals, raps... everything.
PS: the first female rapper in this song is the main vocalist of the group - the girl can sing, dance and rap, an all-arounder ideed, her name is Sieun.

STAYC is produced by a renowned producer duo Black Eyed Pilseung, so their music are always catchy and high quality. The girls are talented and all have unique vocal tones. Definitely worth checking out more of STAYC, aka SLAYC!
High-Up small as they are will grow huge one day soon. BEP produces top notch beats. Rado is so talented. Anything he creates is a banger. Looking back at previous recordings by BEP (Twice) you knew that STAYC would also be good.

StayC always bring good vibes. Any of their title tracks is worth reacting to. They also have some truly incredible b-sides. My favorites are Slow Down and Young Luv (imo their best song).

• Sumin (2001) : Leader, Vocalist, Rapper, She participated in VICTON‘s reality show, “Me & 7 Men”, as “the invisible girl”, She is a former trainee under Play A Entertainment.
• Sieun (2001) : Main Vocalist, Sieun is the daughter of Park Namjung ( Famous singer ), She has appeared on many TV shows like “Happy Together”, “Law of the Jungle K”, “Kids Are Life’s Blessing”, etc. She’s a former trainee and actress under JYP.
• Isa (2002) : Lead Vocalist, She is the mother of the group, she trained for 3 years.
• Seeun (2003) : Vocalist, She was a former pre-debut member of Play M Girls, She is a child actress, He was a former trainee under Plan A Entertainment, but he left in September 2019.
• Yoon (2004) : Main Vocalist, she was voted the most energetic member of the group.

I've been watching you guys for awhile and I'm so surprised and happy to see you've checked out Stayc!!!! They're such a cute sweet bunch of girls and I think you'll find that a lot of their title tracks are sort of kinda reminiscent of early Twice title tracks with how catchy and fresh they are (fun fact: their producers and the ones who formed them, Black Eyed Pilseung, produced Twice's Fancy, TT, Likey, Like Ooh Ahh, and Cheer Up on top of a bunch of other really popular gg songs). Hope you watch the rest of their MVs since there are really only 5 other ones (6 if you include their one Japanese release) lol.
They've kinda just recently stopped being considered rookies and although they definitely aren't "underrated" or unknown, they really don't get the love or appreciation they deserve so it's so much fun seeing other people experience them
You’ll really enjoy STAYC I think. They put out exceptionally well-crafted and diverse pop music. And the group is great live. The mics are definitely on, which sets them apart from many of the other groups. Their b-sides are also really good.

You two should definitely do more reactions to their music. Their music is very enjoyable, very well sung, and also very well produced by legendary producers (Black Eyed Pilseung) who produced many popular Twice songs

So funny to see some people talking about Sieun as a rapper when she's one of the best vocalists in 4th gen, she really tried something new thiis comeback and it sounds good
Sieun can hit the notes but that doesn’t make someone a good vocalist. She doesn’t use proper technique when singing. Yoon does though, which is why she’s considered the best vocalist in StayC. Even then, there are a lot of amazing vocalists that outclass them (Lily and Haewon (NMIXX), Winter and NingNing (aespa), Yunjin (Lesserafim), Haram and Suhyeon (BILLLIE) just to name a few).
What really makes StayC stand out though is that their CEO is also their producer and he actively participated in the creation of the group, so he knows how to utilize each member’s voice appropriately and gives them parts that make sense for their voices. (Which is why Sieun’s lack of technique isn’t really apparent until she’s doing a cover of a song she shouldn’t really be doing, which in turn lets you hear that lacking technique).
thank you for the informations tho but when I talked about Sieun it was a subjective opinion, I should've been clearer but it won't change my mind and I don't really care about technical skills. Ofc there are better vocalists than her objectively but that's not how tastes in music works or everyone's favorite vocalist would be Swan and it would be boring

I like how Sieun’s voice is utilized. Their producer/CEO knows exactly what he’s doing.

Sieun and Isa are the best singers in stayc, Yoon should learn to control her voice, I am not a vocal coach or etc but sometimes she's just shouting. She's good but Sieun as a main vocal should never be downgraded.
@@Shan-bu3rj…I am quite literally speaking based on my knowledge on vocals and based on what MANY others that are professionals in the field have stated. Yoon has the best technique in StayC. That is a fact. And the vocalists I have listed are ones that have consistently been stated to have great technique and range.
And my point about her not stating it as a personal opinion, which is it, still stands.
It's about three heroes helping three people in need.
This is definitely an interesting STAYC song to start from, but they are a poppy group, so this is like two steps over from their normal honestly. Anyway I love them and am on the verge of considering myself a Swith, so I'm betting y'all will end up liking them too.

They are all rounder. They can rap and sing. And all of their b-side are worth listening too.
Listen to their cover of Blackpink 'Ddu-du-Ddu-du' The main and lead vocalist did the rap lines.
And their b-side 'I Like It' from We Need Love Album the vocals did rap there.

You guys NEED to watch Stereotype. STAYC never miss, but that video in particular has a really sweet story beat that you'll love. I'd call it "subtext," but if you take a look at the stickers on the lockers behind them, they definitely knew what they were doing!

If you start going down the Stayc rabbit hole, check out their 1thek channel stuff they did. They did a couple "stage break" dance videos and "world pop live" covers that really showcase how well rounded they are and versatile.
The teddy bears are actually like superheroes, for the first person with pink/red hair she wanted the bread but someone took the last one and then the long black hair with bangs came with the truck filled with breads and as for the girl with glasses she was a stayc fan and she wanted to buy a concert ticket and so the blonde girl helped her get the ticket and so on. Also the first rapper was actually the main vocalist😭
When I got into this group back in 2022, they have become my top groups for titles and b sides. As much as I'm a big fan of Dreamcatcher, and (g) i-dle, Stayc took over.
Also, I REALLY love their song Beautiful Monster, it's extremely underrated :( I think that one's definitely worth you guys checking out!

i would say with stayc just go in order. they r pretty new and their sound develops very nicely. this was only their 6th korean title track.
Since you love TWICE, you're gonna enjoy STAYC too.
They're in a label headed by producers of early TWICE hits such as Cheer Up and TT, as well as other iconic girl group songs. You can see the brilliant production in Teddy Bear and other STAYC songs, which is bright and poppy with a STAYC signature sound.

none of the members are actual rappers, sumin and j are listed as such because they rapped during their debut bside so people just assumed they were the rappers, but they never introduced themselves as rappers or said they consider themselves rappers
all the girls have a basic idea of how to rap, have fun doing it and take turns to do it in their songs
but yes the first to rap in this song is indeed their main vocalist!

Sieun (who you thought was a rapper) is also a second generation singer (not to be confused with the term '2nd gen kpop'). Her dad was a famous singer back in the days and supposedly 1000x more famous than her in Korea. He made a cameo in one of their tiktoks recently.

Considering how much you guys like twice, I think you’ll REALLY like stayc!! Their title tracks are incredible and have a similar vibe to some of twices earlier stuff (not surprising as they have the same producers who did likey, cheer up, fancy and like ooh ahh) and their bsides are some of the best in kpop. Theyre a real gem 💗

So Bad, their debut, was so good and I'd recommend going back to that one and working forward . Teddy Bear is quite a bit more on the cute side compared to their other songs. They are a group formed by a very good K Pop writing duo Black Eyed Pilseung who have written a ton of extremely successful songs.
