Hi Pete, The panels are moisture resistant (MR) MDF. It is very stable easy to finish board and more resistant to water than ply. Cheers Andy

Hi Andy how do you get round natural wood expansion on your boat?
I have oak door frames and oak trimmed doors on my boat and in the winter the wood swells and they stick. Your boat is starting to look the business 😊

Hi David its the age old problem. There are some seal systems that can be fitted on doors. I have used them on household doors in the past. They take up the expansion contraction of the timber as they squash together . The doors are made with a gap and the actual seals engage when shut not the timber. One of them is Norsound astragal seal their are others also that are routed into the styles . You can retrofit them & should sort the problem. Hope this helps Andy

HI Andy, I have come back to view this video again, Thinking about the electric-heating side of things, I did not see any provision for cables, etc, does this mean there is now a different way of doing this, the boat we had all was hidden, I would like to hear your comments on this, Regards rocket 744

Andy, you make it look so easy, but you have the talent. Cardboard is a great idea as well. Oh, by the way HP or Ketchup on yer butty. PS how do you allow for balance when you are fitting out..

Aldi brown but HP on special days, When the boat is in the water we can see what is needed to balance & I will leave 2 areas front & back each side so some ballast can be put in to trim. Cheers

      Hi Paul
The bead & butt boards were from Lawcris panels at Leeds.
