One of my favorite races in the entire serie. After many fails from burning too much her stamina at start, she finally was able to get enough distance to the point her lack of control and stamina didnt matter and no one could reach her before the end. She won on her own terms to send a message 😂
@@DaveSmith-cp5kj Because the depiction was based on RL racehorse events. Twin Turbo didn't make it far and long enough to be able to race Teio in her league. Truly RIP indeed.
@@ThatchNetherfold Season 1 did change things up a bit, like having El Condor Pasa drawing with Special Week in the Japanese Derby despite El Condor Pasa not actually being part of that race in real life, or when Silence Suzuka continued to race after injury when the real horse was euthanized. At the very least, Teio could've just unofficially raced Twin Turbo for fun like she does with McQueen at the very end :)
Never expected that the silly "horse girls that get to do an idol performance after winning their race" anime based on a mobile gacha game would have so many emotional moments, you can feel the passion and care that they had to have to recreate those races as well as they did

fascinating isn't it? pretty much everything is real. even teio fractured 3 times and made a miracle come back at the biggest race against the strongest of the bunch at his late career after 1 yr long hibernation is real. stories need to have a logical progression of events, reality doesn't.

Did they really have to put Rice Shower in that race? It's not that I don't love her but even I have to admit that had she won that particular race, it would have bummed me out. Which would have been ironic considering her arc.
Rice Shower did run in that real race. They didn't just use him (all the real horses seem to be male) for just filler. The only thing they really have made up was Silence Suzuka in season 1. In real life, the horse was put down after the broken leg. Teio really did break his leg three times before that miracle race. Was in training and broke it a 4th time and was retired.
Getting third place in that race is a reasonable inclusion, regardless of whether it accurately reflects the real race event. Rice Shower is there to give the audience an idea of how competitive it was for Twin Turbo.
