Learning to write the kanji down is a great tip. The Learn Japanese! kanji app you recommended was a big help; I realized just writhing the strokes somehow helped me learn them better.
Bought the official test book for N4 and The Best Practice Tests for the JLPT by The Japan Times which I already got for N5 and that I loved a lot. (Also got the N3 単語 book even though I might fail N4 at this pointbut I wanna be optimistic 😊)
@esthervolkening3568 nice pick! I also used the official test book when I was sitting the N4 and also have the N3 単語 on my shelf waiting for me 😊 Good luck with the JLPT!
Hi, thank you dir showing interest in that 😊 Since it's not really a topic I'm discussing on my channel I won't make a full video about it but when I'm in Japan I'll probably talk a bit more about it in my vlogs since I have to get used to finding vegan products there 🤗
I think they categorize the Kanji using the lists given for the old JLPT that was before 2010 as the book was first published in 2009. For the old JLPT, the N5 did not require kanji, N4 and N3 were the equivalent of the current N5 and N4. The N2 was equivalent to the current N2. When they changed the JLPT in 2010 they basically made the current N3 an intermediate difficulty between the old N3 and N2. There are quite a few of dictionaries and resources online that still use the old JLPT lists.
I didn’t use this book, it looks like it is a good first step in learning kanji. I am using Understanding through pictures 1000 kanji. Just because it covers Kanjis from N5 to N1, so I thought i was saving some money, getting just one book for all the kanjis I needed to know. 😅 but I don’t know if it actually covers all jlpt kanjis. But anyway, it’s a good book review once again. :)😊hope to see what books you are using for JLPT N3, I assume you’ll be taking it on December?
I would say it doesn't. But since there's no official list anyway it's hard to say. But when comparing it with other sources there are a lot of kanji missing for N3

Yay, I'm happy that you found that method to be useful. 頑張って!
This sponsor's advertisement came at the perfect time since I completely forgot about ordering a jlpt practice exam book for the July exams 😍
Yay, I'm happy that you found it helpful. Have fun browning their books and if you want to let me know which ones you chose in the end 🤗

Hi Celine! I know this is off topic, but it would be great to hear more about your vegan journey!

Ahhh, that makes so much sense! 😯 Thank you for explaining 🫶

Gerne! Das ist verständlich! Viele Spaß beim Shoppen in Japan 😊

That's a pretty thick book you got yourself then 😁
I'm not sure about the JLPT situation yet. It all depends on the language school 😄
Does it cover all the kanji for N3 JLPT
