Let's stop comparing Steele to Manowar. There are similarities, but those are only superficial. If you think about the music and its purpose, it becomes very clear that the two bands are very different. Manowar are great at what they are doing, Steele are great at what they are doing. Manowar is very one dimensional. Virgin Steele is classical music with distortion and double bass. There isn't even a contest.

I think Manowar and VS are different projects. Manowar desired to be the kings of metal, VS desired to glorify the gods. Personally I prefer VS.
