Hi, friends! In this video, I walk through our new construction home and share a fall home tour. I also share some updates, projects, ideas, that I'm considering as well. I agree that decorating is a process. So many UA-camrs and regular people fill their house with things from hobby lobby or home goods (and other stores) just to say you’re decorated. Definitely add more items from your travels that tell a story about your family. For example when you went to Italy, it would have been nice to bring back some items from there to incorporate into your home. They tell a story, they are not just things. 😊😊
I hear the joy and excitement in your voice! Your kitchen/dining and pantry is just lovely and the areas are so spacious and open for entertaining. Love it. Vlogmas headquarters was such a fun title for your office for Christmas. The bar stools are so pretty. Lovely home!
I love that you got to partner with OSEA! They've been my go-to skincare for seven or so years. It actually started as a necessity search - I'm allergic to a ton of things, but OSEA is one of the only brands that I've never reacted to.

I think what is reflected in a mirror is really important - I love the barn art reflected in your entryway! World Market has a really good lamp selection.
Everything looks good. I do believe you need a larger rug in the living area, and a little color to warm up the space. It’s a great space but it looks cold. That’s my thinking. But if you love it then do your thing.

Hi Crystal! Your home is so beautiful...in my opinion you don't need much to enhance its beauty. The architecture and the windows are striking. Take your time and decorate the way you love. Just like you're doing select pieces that don't have to changed all the time. Great artwork like the piece you just bought which will work great for winter and really all year round. Selective furniture like your bar stools and your new chair and sherpa round stools. All that is timeless. Just add only small touches of each season....large vases with florals, decorative pillows, etc. Certainly don't be worried about whether anyone likes it or not. You've come a long way in six months. Decorate your house the way you like. You live in it, no one commenting here does. Remember, there are people who live vicariously through others because they lead boring, unfulfilled lives of their own. Those are the ones that are the most critical. I love what you are doing, friend.

Hello Crystal!!! I liked your family room downstairs best today. It has more fall colors!!! I like the fall decor you used down there. The fall signs and floral ect. It was so sweet the way Charlie follows you to each room!!! In your living room I love the new baskets maybe add some pumpkins and pinecone's.Take care God bless!!! Thought I’d pass this along… I considered painting my kitchen island black but wasn’t sure, and when you mentioned thinking of painting your basement shiplap black to disguise your tv it reminded me of that. I bought black wrapping paper and taped it onto my island to see how it would look before I painted anything. Thank goodness I did, because I hated it and saved myself a lot of grief and money. It only cost about $12 so I thought I’d suggest this idea to you. Love your new home, you must be so very proud. ❤
Crystal your home is stunning & really coming together. My style totally evolved when we moved into our new build, it’s so fun! I am too planning and dreaming of Christmas decor. 🎄 It’s going to be hard to hold of as I am hosting Thanksgiving this year. We’ll see if I can resist! 😬
On the end table, with the cream colored ottomans, maybe you can just keep it simple for Christmas 🎄 that way your boys can continue to enjoy it 😊 just an idea. Go easy on yourself Crystal, everything you do and decorate always turns out great. Plus, this is your first year decorating your new home 🤍 you’re doing great 😊

Hi Crystal, your home looks absolutely lovely! And I love snatches of Charlie of course, too! (We have 3 dogs and a cat.) I don't comment often because my husband and I watch on TV and don't have the opportunity, but I just wanted to congratulate you on your new home! It will be fun to see what you do for Christmas! We live in an earth house, underground with a wall of windows facing the south! Having moved from a victorian, this house was a challenge to decorate at first! But it's fun! We live in Wisconsin. I'm the person who told you way back about using cotton balls soaked in essence of peppermint oil for your shack/shed down by the pond, to deter mice. Living in the ground we know a lot of tricks! Just wanted to say 'hi', and that you're the kind of person that I think I would have a fun friendship with! I'm a psychotherapist but am currently not working and planning to retire as I have chronic headaches, and boy is it hard to listen to people's problems when you have a migraine!! Have a wonderful winter, and we'll be watching, decorating and wrapping with you!! Hugs!
