I know this is an older upload but this video was very helpful ! Thank you for posting it
We are a great Library there's more out there if you'd like to go take a look. And we appreciate the kind words
@@AutoRestoMod i have and I do. This is a great channel
First time I ever tried doing upholstery in my 67 and I must say, I was terrified at first. This video made it look easy and it turns out it kind of was after following your clear directions. Thanks guys.
Thanks for the program, it helped greatly while I was redoing my 1966 Ford Galaxie Seat restoration. I enjoyed the humor because it is what my wife and I do when we restore, it gives a new meaning for fixing up an old car. Enjoyed the show...
Thanks! We appreciate you watching!
Thanks Guys, I truly mean it!
a little tip i found when I was recovering the seats I my 66 mustang was to cut listning wire a bit longer and bend the ends back on themselves stopped it snagging when u put it through the seat vinyl
This video was super helpful. Just started installing a pony interior on my 65 coupe. The listing rods are key. Thanks guys!
Great vid as usual Jeff. Lots of good tips and I can't wait to see the next one on the back seat. BTW, props to Larry..."chrome"....I love it!!
Great video! Doing my '67 Corvair now.
Hey guys, i love your videos. great job
I bought (plastic coated) wire hangers at The Wal (-Mart) last week. I was totally surprised to see them!
Yeah, they are coming back around finally.
Can you buy just 1 part of a seat cover? Only bad part on any of my seats is the drivers bottom. I don't want to buy an entire seat cover. Just the bottom cover. Is this possible.
Spare the rod, spoil the bun. Another helpful how-2.
For listning rod you could use home insulation hanger rods.
Good tip!
how about using a split rubber hose instead?
A tool you might find useful for pulling all different kinds of springs, including this seat spring. Headlight and brake spring tool Harbor Freight #95757 for $5. Way better than needle nose pliers!
Bummer now we have to go get a tool...said no car guy ever. Thanks for the tip! We'll be jetting over to Augusta this week to pick one up.
Your camera guy did not get the shot I was hoping for the side shot of installing the left and right top side seat cover to the thru the foam listing wire. You said this was the hardest part but you did not show it.
Some shots are just hard to get.

omg, i cant believe how many things they tell you are incorrect.
+stang32 OK, tell us Stang! To type that and not give Jeff and the crew examples is like making a pie with half a recipe. We took several hours and a couple of days to create a video. We would appreciate you taking a couple more minutes to illuminate what we are incorrect about.
Cold day in hell if I would order from NPD! THEY SCREWED ME OVER ON RETURN SHIPPING.. they didn't send me the right color seat covers so it's their fault they don't offer the correct if they State they do everybody knows TMI doesn't know how to make the correct color! So I basically took a hundred-dollar bill and threw in the trash. I wouldn't order from them if everything was free they suck sorry guys but NPD sucks you keep doing plugs for them but I won't in a million years 😮
please, skip the scripted dialogue. you're neither writers nor actors. just stick to talking about the project
Ási Helguson Wait, there was a script?! Seriously though we don't scrip anything. What you see is Larry and I talking as we do. We cut up and have fun. Usually the intro is about 1 minute to 2 minutes long. You can skip that if need be. Thanks for the input Asi, we appreciate your comments.
don't know why i was such a d**k, I learned a lot from watching your vids. thanks and sorry =)
Ási Helguson No worries Asi! We know that some of our viewers want meat and potatoes and at times we are the same way. What we try to do is keep it light to show that wrenching isn't all throwing chairs and cussing each other out. But we thank YOU for coming back and saying what you did. Shows great character! =)
Haha thanks, although a better man would've just kept his mouth shut. Please do something on custom door cards or door card dyeing sometime soon =)
