Dear Scott, Such a wonderful wonderful, and a balanced teaching!
I need to practice point # 3 more. The other day I experienced Point #4, as I read Isaiah 53: 4-5. Thank You, Dear Holy Spirit!
I will share these teachings with my Mom too, who is looking to Jesus for her healing.
And I hope in Jesus, that as we grow in the knowledge of Him, both me and Mom will receive our healing and deliverance and be a powerful witnesses of Jesus.

Grace existed before the Ten Commandments in the Old Testament. So, when God said to Joshua about meditate on His Words, His speakings, His book of the Law, which one did He talk about? Law or Gace? Thank you.

May i ask: Jesus (God) 's Words or speakings are Law or Grace?
I am confused. In the old Testament and before Jesus' death, it is about the law: you shall, you shall not, then you will receive the blessings or punishments. But after Jesus resurrection, in the New Testament, Paul talked about Grace, forgiveness for all our dins, that Jesus save sinners, that we only need to believe, that we are saved by Grace, not by our work, our trying to be a Saint, to be good, but only believe in Jesus.
Please clarify for me what God meant when He said to Joshua about the book of the law and that Joshua had to mediate on it days and nights.
What is the book of the law? The first four book in the old Testament, the Torah? How about the New Testament that speaks about Grace?
    Thank you.

Hi, thank you for you question. We are living in the dispensation of grace. During this time period, we have access to our covenant rights by grace and through faith. So we can receive salvation and the promises of God by grace and through faith. Healing is included in that as well. When God told Joshua to meditate on the book of the law, that word "law" in Hebrew is Torah. This means the first five books of the bible (the Pentateuch). Since that is all that Joshua had to refer to was the books of Moses, that is all that Joshua could meditate on and obey. Since the bible is progressive revelation, under the New Testament, we still adhere to the that verse Joshua 1:8 and apply it to all of the scripture that is available to us. We are safe doing that since meditating and keeping God's word before our eyes is mentioned in several books of both the Old Testament and New Testament. (Psalms 1:2, 119:15, 119:23, 119:48, 1 Tim 4:15, Col 3:16, 2 Tim 3:16-17)

@@TeamRedmond so, to my understanding, the book of the law that God told Joshua to meditate upon, and the Words of God are all the scriptures in the Old and New Testament. The Law is good and Holy. Grace will lead us to holiness. We need to respect all the scriptures, and , like you said, let the Holy Spirit reveal to us which words , principles of God that God wants us to meditate upon. Right? Thank you.
