There was a time I used to love Bollywood. Movies like Dil Chahta Hai, Andaz Apna Apna, ZNMD, Kal Ho Na Ho, Hera Pheri, Company, Udaan are still on top of my list forever - I still have their dialogues memorized. Unfortunately Bollywood has set a narrative of repeatedly misrepresenting Pakistan & Muslims and there’s a lot of evidence of that in the movies of 2023. I published some research on that on insta as well! This narrative is what keeps Modi & BJP in power. Hence this narrative is constantly fed to the audiences. There was a time I used to love Bollywood. Movies like Dil Chahta Hai, Andaz Apna Apna, ZNMD, Kal Ho Na Ho, Hera Pheri, Company, Udaan are still on top of my list forever - I still have their dialogues memorized.
Unfortunately Bollywood has set a narrative of repeatedly misrepresenting Pakistan & Muslims and there’s a lot of evidence of that in the movies of 2023. I published some research on that on insta as well!
This narrative is what keeps Modi & BJP in power. Hence this narrative is constantly fed to the audiences. Their media is obsessed with misrepresenting us. So much so that this entire generation of India is now anti-Pakistani from the get go.
