  • Post Offense has been one of the biggest changes in the modern NBA. From it being based on having 2 bigs on the floor with a blocker mover style offense, 3 out 2 in. Now, most offenses being 5 out and post touches are not nearly as common. Modern post offense is used to either give your best player the ball close to the hoop in order to have an advantage with their size, strength, skill in a spot they can identify help, or to attack the help side with off ball movement and actions, creating inverted offensive opportunities. In this video, we dive into the top post offensive attacks in the NBA and discuss the commonalities and what makes these teams so good when the ball gets to the post along with why they do what they do.

    Top video! I was literally impressed how European team executed in FIBA WC, they were almost automatic when their bigs had advantage in post or perimeter defense left someone open on perimeter
