I’ve been a customer of Audio Advice for less than a year. During that time I’ve purchased the bowers & wilkins model asw608 sub to pair with my vanatoo t0 speakers and finally brought the Kef LSX II along with the svs micro 3000. Bottom line I’m happy with my purchases.
I’ve been seeing Vanatoo t0 and people swear by it. The name and appearance throws me off considering it’s $400. But if they are truly worth that price I’d go for it. Unless the LSXII are a day/night difference.
Amicalement Paulo 👍
I would like to test how authentic your reviews are. So would you send me a pair of Kef LSX II so I can see if your review coresponds with my expirience? I will keep the speakera for my effort then. Your welcome 😀
So the spec sheet states it accepts hi-res up to 384 kHz for Network and 192 for USB-C but also states the interspeaker wired connection that all sources resample to 96kHz. So is 96kHz the max no matter what?
That is right, it will accept the higher res signal so if you have a bunch of files that way for a more high performance system you can still use them, but the connection resamples them to 96 wired and 48 wireless. Thanks for watching
Wireless looks good but what happens when this model isnt build anymore after 4 years and your 2yrs Warranty is over ?!... ,,Lifestyle,, Products are popular but i think for a lot of people it would be a better choice to buy something popular and well known like a Neumann KH120 - maybe not Wireless but options to upgrade with the KH750 DSP with a awesome Room Correction
@@AudioAdvice Thanks you. My room size: 10 x 12 IS the LS 50 too big? -- Or are you saying simply moving to the LS 50 II and skipping an outside streamer?
Say the source resolution over the network is up to 384 kHz / 24 bits But the speakers transmit lower signal resolution between each other Wireless connection: 48kHz / 24 bit PCM Wired connection: 96kHz / 24-bit PCM It turns out 384 kHz / 24 to hear how???
My problem is the height - I will be obliged to install the speakers on the wall with the wall brackets. But the height will be way above the head even when standing - the bottom part of the loudspeaker will start at 220cm. Will the brackets allow directing the sound downwards or will I not be able to enjoy the best quality these can give? Any thoughts, please?
Sorry, the wall bracket does not tilt downward. These do have a very wide dispersion pattern. For your application, they would work better than any other speaker we know of.
Every penny you pay for wireless connection complexity is a penny less you pay for driver size/quality, and in nearfield, what does wireless matter except to limit bandwidth? The wires run under the damn table anyways. Mind, it's an unfair comparison because I've never listened to the LSX and therefore have no right to judge them, but the LS50 Metas I just paid $US100 less for at retail than the LSX - the remainder being taken up by an Aiyima T9 amp - certainly seem a better choice at this price point than the LSX unless wireless is a priority for you. And as an early impression the Metas seem worth every penny of the 4x increase in price than the LSR305's they've replaced.
The LS50 Meta is an awesome speaker, but we feel the LSX is for a different type of consumer. You need all the gear and some set up skills with the Meta and with the LSX just the speakers and follow the app instructions to get great sound. In theory, having dedicated amps made specifically for the drivers in the LSX give them an advantage, but as you point out the LS50 has better tech. If you use the right amp, and set them up with care, yes the LS50 is a much better speaker, but you will have more $$$ in the total system. Both are great speakers though!
@@AudioAdvice Thank you for the insight; your logic is inarguable. We're not all alike. Use cases are as varied as users are, and being an unabashed KEF fanboi (there are LS50's in front of me and R3's behind me for more serious listening), there's no doubt in my mind that the LSX can justify their price sonically under the proper conditions.
never understand how these are often seen sat next to a PC these are WAY too powerful for that and need stands and a decent space between them to let them breathe.
We totally agree with the stands for desktop use. Many people do want a great desk system and these are a great choice if used with these www.audioadvice.com/isoacoustics-iso130 Thanks for watching
So much talking in this 12 minutes video but no mention that the USB connection sucks on Mac. The balance is shifted to left on start and volume goes to 100 everything.
You won't even find any audio sources that support 384KHz. I work with audio engineers and they all agree you can't even hear the difference between 48KHz and 96KHz. These are the people that create the audio you listen to.

How do the 608 sound?
@@iiiEazyiii😂 I can relate to the swear part, it is that good indeed
Looking forward to visiting your shop to have a listen. I really like the look.
Please do!
For Kef wall mounts, Would we need to get a longer power supply cable to fish behind the wall?
Yes that would be a good idea if you want to hide the wire.
Idk about wireless but I do know KEF , best speakers I ever heard .
They are great, thanks for sharing
Awesome little speakers...spent some time in the Raleigh showroom listening to them. Great imaging and detail.
Glad you like them!
What an excellent video, thank you.
Thanks very much, glad you enjoyed it
Beautiful finishes and excellent build quality. I am excited to demo a pair of the LXII’s!
Hope you enjoy it!
Would love to see a desktop head to head against the new SVS Wireless Pro!

Geez, these sure sound like an impressive speaker design.
They truly are! Thanks for watching
Can we use three of those speakers one for left, right, and center with HDMI arc?
Great question, but you can not. Thanks for watching

Yes, it will accept that range of signal but the wired connects gives 96kHz.

Wow, I bet these sound awesome - such a great design.

good looking speakers 👍🏻

Will these speaker benefit from a WIIM pro plus or Eversolo A6-- Or do I need to move up to the LS 50 II wireless in my study?
The DAC inside if pretty good, moving to the bigger LS50 would be our suggestion

@@MrAerialsound We have a pair in our Raleigh showroom that is about 9 by 12 and they work well.
