First Full Launch Day! Caltrain Electric Train

After many weeks of testing and its soft launch that lasted for a bit over a month, on September 21st, 2024, Caltrain fully launched their electric trains into service between SF and SJ. Train #628 was the first ever train on full electric launch day. I rode this train from SF to Palo Alto for the Caltrain launch party event, with a ride video between Burlingame and Belmont. I was recording on the middle level, which is slightly louder than the upper level. I was also on the first car of the train so it wasn't fully quite due to the loud horns. Great horn shows between Burlingame and Hayward Park btw. Overall the ride was comfortable and smooth, with many people on board the train because it was free the whole weekend.

Note that this is Train #628, as the headsign says #603 which is actually wrong, rare wrong headsign moment.
