Since Violets Lad's came straight off of the track, she still had her racing plates on and now the time has come to have those changed. Ollie has been my farrier since I moved to London 2 years ago and has 20+ years of experience in the business. His day job is shoeing racehorses in the Epsom area and so I thought it would be a great idea to have a chat to him, not only about the in's and out's of shoeing racehorses but also about Violet and what shoes she will be having next now that she is no longer in racing.

white footed horses being worse is definitely a myth. Kudos to the Farrier for telling it like it is.
