Oh my goodness, yes! Thank you for putting to words these style lessons! Jumping headlong into a new direction was something I was guilty of as well. Cost so much money. While they were quality pieces, I find they were not something I reached for or were actually wearing. Happy to have them but yes, it’s ok to not always have “quality” pieces as long as they are pieces you’ll get joy and actual wear out of!
The psychological aspect is so true, though I do think it's tied to tangible things. For example, wearing fast fashion generally makes me feel the "ick" much quicker than investment items, but often this is because the materials of the fast fashion items are synthetic and poorly constructed, so that after wearing only a couple times it loses its shape. The fast fashion items also rarely have elements of "design." They are more basic, but not in a good way. Compare a simple item like a blazer from Zara to Tibi and you'll understand what I mean. You can just tell there's more thought and effort behind everything from the fabric choice, the cut, to even the color of the Tibi blazer. Knowing this, the only fast fashion I buy is COS and Arket which seem to use better materials and have better longevity.
My friends and I were bullied at school when we were teenagers. When I moved to upper secondary school, I stopped wearing most of the clothes I had been wearing in 9th grade when the bullying was at worst. I completely wanted a fresh start to the new school. Also, as a grown-up, I have sold or donated clothes that remind me of some not-so-pleasant times.
Naja, you're a breath of fresh air.😊 I feel you, lady, I feel you. Your ending certainly brought it home❤
Your make up is One Point! Rocking the spring peach colour pallet!

Greetings from Australia. I love your videos. Your demeanour is so positive, confident and a role model to all ladies.
I feel this too! Nice video.
So relatable. Thank you.
You are a riot. Just 2 girlfriends having a chat. Thanks for being real.
Bestiiiie
Did you ever have a piece you loved to wear, to which your feelings towards suddenly turned sour?
Clothes I wore to a stressful job. It’s like my body is allergic to them. Have sold them all.

The last point - say it louder for the people in the back! 🙌
Can you please share what lip color you are wearing in this video?
I am wearing this gloss only: c.klarna.com/al/9vIL/
I wear color 013 to be exact :)
You look so fresh and bright. Is it your lipstick color, your hair? 🤷😘
❤
Won’t buy expensive white t-shirts or white tops in general. My tinted sunscreen will stain them sooner or later.
