For the clueless, the forklift tires are solid rubber, they can't be flat and all companies aren't even monitored by OSHA. Humans aren't too close and that isn't even an OSHA violation.
All I see is 3 men risking their lives to get a job done faster, instead of safer, Why work with no hard hat? Why stand under a live load? How did the load fall of by itself at the end? At the end of the day we all work hard for our families and the main goal everyday should be returning home in the same way you left
I’ve worked in some of the most dangerous environments, and many times I’ve backed off while being threatened by idiots. Im now 78 and have all my fingers and faculties. Honestly, other than some shitty rigging with the chain and lack of opening, everything is fine here. The forklift tires aren't flat, they don't even hold air lol.
No everything isn't "fine here" 😂 Both guys standing directly near the load and helping move it and at the end the load basically fell by itself Why risk your life in any way for a boss who couldn't care less about you, instead take your time to get the job done safely so everyone can go home safely to their families

He was supposed to honk every time he changed direction, and he didn't do a particularly good job of looking behind him when reversing, considering he had men on both sides of him.
It'd be easy and more knowledgeable if you share 20 voilations along. All i can notice here is use of wrong equipment for the load, unprotected area, lack of communication and PPEs'.
The reality of my work life suggests the following: No one cares about OSHA. It's just some extra shit workers have to spend time quizzing on, or pay and take an exam for if they want a credential, so that companies can meet the minimum compliancy requirements to avoid an audit, after which they'd actually have to follow law.
That's really sad if nobody gives a single shi about OSHA, it's the most important thing about working in any environment, and why people don't do insane things to their workers like they used to
It is, some people are anal, line if this was a contract id understand needing whats called PPE. Personal protective equipment. If this is just there own doing that stuff is fine
Maybe the forklift operator was not wearing a seatbelt? otherwise no other OSHA violations were observed from the video. Was it over capacity? Was the operator trained and certified under 1910.178(l)(4)(iii)? Don’t throw the OSHA act (5)(a)(1) because that’s lame. It was stable so it when the guys helped they weren’t in violation of the 1910.176(b) standard.
Improper safety equipment. The trailer does not have blockers or whatever those are called. With the quality of the video, the wheels on the forklift look like they need to be changed. Forklift driver didn't use the horn when moving forward. Endangering co-workers by helping them with something that will have a good drop. Having someone that close to the forks while they are lowering down. More along the lines of this video being osha. It should be (X) forklift violations.
I work in a rigging barn and do this shit all the time. No violations there. Anybody that says different, has no clue about this type of work. Tag line needed. Not when the load is on forks. Hardhat for operator? Not when he's under that cage.
I show unsafe condition and act, for the best practices refer to the OSHA now that guy taking unsafe position, OSHA give the best practice for any activity carry out in term avoiding a major accident occur.

I don't see where anybody can see anything wrong with this is what is done all the time.
Non regulation trailer. Using a forklift. Flat tire. Humans being too close to a moving forklift. No PPE. The list goes on!
LOL
i think you're supposed to have a crane attechment for the forklift if you're going to do that, probably also something about PPE
No they are not wearing hard hats the problem as Clarkson on Top Gear teaches you must where a Hard hat to be safe
Unless you cite the OSHA reference, there's nothing to cite.

I don't get it. No violations that I saw.
It all has to do with ppe no hard hats, no vests, improper assistance, unsafe loading, no gloves, no goggles, the list is endless.

Osha ain't no joke
OSHA says my rebar that pokes out the ground needa safty caps,so do i but where tf are they!
What were the OSHA violations? This doesn't look too bad, except for maybe where it swings at the end.
Robert F, it’s irrelevant now but PPE was the hazard in this case. For what I could see and maybe the unloading of the forklift but that’s debatable.

Clickbait. Don't waste your time.
That 2 guys not wear helmets and when there is loading or unloading must be trained rigger is there, so it should be violation.
They could have used tag-lines to control the load rather than manhandle.
Now do 30 OSHA violations in 2 minutes!
