Well done mate. Radiation has becomed more focused over the years. 12 years ago, the radiation i received spilled over into the bowel and bladder. This time around, the radiation was more focused, and didn't have as much pain. We just keep going, shoulders back, and smash this, as Troy Hawke from the greeters guild on UA-cam would say.

Sacrum. I agree about the worries. Of all the catastrophic things one imagines, only a small number occur. And that small number is more easy to deal with than you were thinking.

Thanks for the update Woody. You're on the right track in understanding that the oncologists and therapists are going to give you the full list of possible side effects, while each of us has our own experience. Don't worry. If there's pain it can be managed, but you may have very little pain! Everything is worse in the anticipation. And your team will help you get through whatever comes. Best of Luck. Take your wife out for a meal, and stay positive! Reid

Keep positive Woody. I had 6 weeks radiation therapy. It’s good that your PSA is stable and I presume that you are still on hormone therapy.

After second radiaton of the spine I got paralysis of legs, but before radiation my legs were already very weak, so I had two lose- lose choices: to accept radiation or not. I hoped radiation will help, bet very soon after finish of radiation treatment paralysis of legs came. My hopes have gone.
