This is tied for my favorite song on the album with Calling All My Lovelies. I bought the album the day it came out. anyone who knows me knows I never go out and buy a physical copy unless I can tell it's going to be dope. It's only the sixth album I've ever bought a copy of. This album is better than I expected and I expected greatness. I've listened to the album so much at this point that I'll never be able to listen to it ever again! That's not true but my dad and I have just been hypnotized by this art. I love what Bruno is doing so much. Though I am only 16, I have had a great respect for old skool and Bruno is brining that back with a new swagger about it. I love this album and I wish he was coming here to my state, Utah, during his tour, but he's not sadly. My review would be 10/10 and I am proud to call Bruno Mars one of my favorites and one of the greats to ever do this.

This is tied for my favorite song on the album with Calling All My Lovelies. I bought the album the day it came out. anyone who knows me knows I never go out and buy a physical copy unless I can tell it's going to be dope. It's only the sixth album I've ever bought a copy of. This album is better than I expected and I expected greatness. I've listened to the album so much at this point that I'll never be able to listen to it ever again! That's not true but my dad and I have just been hypnotized by this art. I love what Bruno is doing so much. Though I am only 16, I have had a great respect for old skool and Bruno is brining that back with a new swagger about it. I love this album and I wish he was coming here to my state, Utah, during his tour, but he's not sadly. My review would be 10/10 and I am proud to call Bruno Mars one of my favorites and one of the greats to ever do this.

You're right on citing 80s RnB, but that itself is very close to post disco e.g. Shalamar - A Night to Remember, George Duke - Reach Out, Jocelyn Brown's - Somebody Else's Guy. Its the post disco sound :)
