What I really love about seung jo is that he wants hani to learn and work hard. At the very start their relationship is so toxic but what's good is that they are both growing and learning. Oh Hani is so pretty and simple girl, you can easily make her happy because she appreciates everything that her loved ones does for her.

I felt like dad if the FL was the best in the Taiwanese version, especially when he slapped the ML for how he's treating his daughter. The parents in the Thai version were great, too.
The childhood friend was doing too much. She was old enough to know that she was crossing all kinds of boundaries.
The pregnant woman in the last episode was too over the top.

Love this drama + YT addition, these two have done exceptionally well, Jung So Min is so damn cute as this cute, determined, loving Oh Hani that people still calls her OH HANI. And no doubt this character is unforgettable. I still watch it every now and then and smile all the time ☺

this is the first time i watch a k-drama series in full length, being curious about the korean adaptation of itazura na kiss. was able to watch the taiwanese version also.. surprisingly, i was amazed on how hyun joong and so-min portrayed their characters well. they are both adorable on screen..how i wish that they could have another drama series.. love them ..
This is my 6th time rewatching this drama...till date.. it's been my most favourite drama ever...started to watch it in 2015... 9 long years and it's still gives us the butterfiles ❤

Playfull Kiss is another one I love. I have watched it at least eight times. I love the music and the cast is awesome, but my two favorite Hani and Seung Jo. They are so adorable. Can't wait to see more of Kim Hyun Joong movies besides being totally gorgeous.

Damn I came to watch this after so many years. now i realized that yes while Seungjo loves Oh hani and he wants her to learn and know the value of hard work and life. this girl is always ANXIOUS! like in every situation she's always riled up wanting to feel reassurance from him even after they got married. I've been in a place like that before and while the good moments are amazing when that person shows me they love me but when i am constantly wanting reassurance because that person was low on words damn it felt like hell. oh hani deserves someone matching her energy. Seungjo is great but not for her. that's a one hell of a draining relationship. weird how i found this extremely cute 8 years ago.
They deserve each other i think, since there is no perfect couple in this world, but they really want to work hard for their love and relationship, the fact that they really love each other and their love grow up everytime. Soung jo really know that he can't really express his feelings, but always trying to do it and want hani know how's his love for her. And day by day hani seems more getting know her husband's feelings more and more and she become more confident.
the problem then is you. are actions not better than words? and why burden someone to constantly boost your confidence? that's tiring too. which is why i am amazed at seung jo's patience. the length he goes through just to make ha ni happy and reassured.

I know they are trying to make this funny, but dang, I'm getting really tired of seeing them make Ha Ni look so stupid when she isn't. And yet we're supposed to believe she was able to become a nurse? They showed so much promise with her when the show first began. I'm sorry, but nobody is this stupid, and it hurts to see such a disparity between the two of them. Who takes 8 times to pass a driver's test? Come on!!!! It's like they wanted her to be the butt of jokes instead of being a real, fleshed-out character with a worthiness of her own.
I enjoyed this series when I was younger, but now dang. The male lead has the hugest red flag. I read from a commentary somewhere that if this was in real life, the male lead would've cheated on her with the second female lead. The female lead is just there for the sake of the parents.
@@cathegail2439 who said its because of the parents, seems you didn't really follow the story. he even confessed when his parents, especially his mother, started to give up and couldn't do anything. he even told his parents Directly to respect whatever decision he made for his career and love life. ha ni was also determined to leave him at that time.

I know that this is just a drama and all made up, but I can't help but compare what will happen if this was in real life.
