    This is Part 3 of 3 tribute videos I've made for Steve Prestwich. Time stamps are in the description. This one took a bit longer than expected to finish, but hope you enjoy. Please don't forget to throw me a LIKE 👍 . Many thanks ! Love KAP.

    Brilliant Doc, i was lucky enough to see them in 1998 in Dubbo i did the catering so got paid to be at a Chisel / mossy concert, Mossy played the first half near solo and the boys all came out for the second half. i worked for a mate doing spit roasts. I would love Forever Now to be cleaned up it may need a new master track for the music with that big loss in the middle of the official clip

      Which version of Forever Now are you referring to? I always split tracks into 5 stems (vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano) and work on each separately then remix. That’s exciting you got to experience that in Dubbo, I’m sure the Chisel boys were good fun!

    I had no idea that Steve Prestwich was such a great singer and songwriter. No wonder Cold chisel are still the best Australian rock band Australia ever. Such a loss and so young too.

    Fabulous, including the many pictures of Steve and the band.
    1:57 I'd never seen this interview, and I totally agree that none of us know how long we've got.....pretty pertinent to me now as my Dad is receiving palative care at the moment. It's been a hard month or so 😢 Not sure what the future holds. Make sure you give your loved ones a cuddle ❤

      Oh Kazz I’m so sorry to hear that. My dad has also been unwell lately for the first time in his life (he’s a staunch country bred 80 year old!) - we really thought it was something serious but they haven’t found anything significant. What a difficult time for you. Nothing can prepare you for this. Thinking of you 💐 ❤️

      @@Dr_KAP 🌸💗 sorry to hear about your Dad....my Dad is also 80 years young. He has idiopathic pulmory fibrosis, right sided heart failure, his bones are breaking now (due to Vitamin D deficiency), back pain from nerve damage, which believe it or not was the reason he went into hospital on 7th January, and now pneumonia....(plus cancer too!). He went home for only 4 hours after a procedure and then rushed back with uncontrollable jerking all over (horrific to watch) on Thursday just gone and we've had many end of life discussions since then.... He was sitting today though, and is responding to antibiotics. Still a little out of it, trying to jump out of bed so has to be watched 24/7. He was saying he was bored today, poor thing, even though Mum, and my sister and brother and I were there (maybe we weren't exciting enough hehe). He is excited that my son is getting a puppy in a few weeks (a Golden Retriever). That is one thing that makes him happy..... Such long days, but I certainly don't want to be anywhere else right now. I do have to head back to work tomorrow though, so I'll see if I can concentrate. One day at a time, right now.

      @@kazz3956 my gosh that is a lot going on at once the poor man. Happy to hear the antibiotics are helping the pneumonia. Yes, one day at a time and make sure you take time to breathe and re-centre yourself!!

    Hi Dr. Kapp. I saw your comment the other day but for some reason I couldn't get to it or even read the last portion. I hope this is the video you were talking about. I may have to break it into portions so YT doesn't screw me by interrupting it for a commercial. I could probably solve that problem by getting YT premium but I'm too cheap. As always, thank you for all you do for your fans.

    • @Dr_KAP

      @@deepcutsreactions7774 hi Greg- UA-cam delete any comment that is seen as self promotion so I took the risk on that one but they deleted it unfortunately!! I don’t think people will mind the commercial but you could always edit it out after. I’ll leave it to you and really hope you enjoy this.

      @@Dr_KAP What bullshit. As far as I'm concerned, you could promote your channel on mine as much as you want. I did have a few people that tried that crap when I first started but I just deleted their comments. I think I do avoid a lot of problems by being such a small channel. Another reason I have no ambitions. I might try to play it with an edit if I can figure out how to do it. I am a true dinosaur and tech impaired but in this case, it might be worth a shot. You see how lazy I am on my channel. I never edit anything so consequently, I often look like a fool. In the afternoon I'll sit down to listen to some music and just charge ahead without doing any proper research and just enjoy my little music fix for the day. I'm having such fun and it's so cool that all these folks from Australia have been talking to me. Consequently, I find myself getting a bit looser and personal. I mean, who the hell cares and the statute of limitations is long past. Besides, y'all Aussies seem a lot less uptight. People say such nice things to me and share stories and stuff to where I really feel like I'm sitting down with friends, hanging out and playing music.

    • @Dr_KAP
      @Dr_KAP  2 місяці тому +1

      @deepcutsreactions7774 You know since you’ve become more personal and opened up more you’ve definitely grown on us Aussies. Your reaction to the Jock Zonfrillo tribute was raw and real and the fact you’re reading Jimmy’s books shows you’re not just pandering to subscriber requests you genuinely do love Jimmy and the band. I respect that. The little tribute I made was to mark the anniversary of Steve’s passing, and I was blown away when his family contacted me and said they loved it and I also got the thumbs up from Jane Barnes, I believe she and Jimmy watched it together. Australians are very laid back, we don’t take life too seriously but we enjoy it. Take care.
