Long running shows used to set an identity through the songs too, so they do have a bunch of similar ones. If you look at how people say they don't like the second ending, which is great but different from the other song styles, it makes perfect sense. Even more so considering this aired for 80's and 90's kids to watch

Nick, I can officially confirm that the day you reacted to the Naruto Shippuden EDs, you were on the purest form of Crystal meth known to man.
These endings are good no doubt, but when compared to the Shipuuden endings...unless you're deaf and/or high, know these pale in comparison to the Shipuuden endings.
Watched this reaction which is good then immediately watched the Shipuuden endings afterwards and those endings have so much more depth, vocalists, artstyle, motion and emotion. But as far as Nostalgia, OG Naruto EDs can be held as most nostalgic as they are older than Shipuuden EDs
