I'm 75 and I think I'll use my baby shoes. That was a very cute idea. I love all your creativity that you're showing your videos. Thank you so much! Will be looking forward to 24!
I am loving this form of video where you find an item & immediately show us how you upcycle it. Not a fan of thrifting at the bins, so this is a good compromise between you treasure hunting & then inspiring us to create something for our own decor. ❤
Oh Baby Girl you are glowing and your eyes are so bright. I can see friends and family around you and doing DYI’s make you happy. I’m blessed to be a part of your community. Oh! I loved the hallway!!!
Julie, i love the format of seeing the thrifted item and then the diy done to it right after. Makes it much easier to follow. Thanks for all the ideas!
The idea to use placemats as pillows is fabulous and those yellow ones are really lovely. That little wood plaque was a great find. I'm always surprised when things like that end up in the bins.
Julie, just a thought , the next time you see linen napkins. You could make pillows out of two and either add a transfer or add an appliqué on one side.
Thanks for the tip on placemat hack ideas - I love the pillows you made. I’m going to look at placemats differently now. I really like how you show us what you got at the thrift store and then do a thrift flip. I’m not a fan of shopping with you but this way is fun and interesting. I have that exact basket that you split up and made 2 different baskets out of. I really appreciate your perspective of splitting it up. I’m going to give it a try. It’s hidden away right now just as storage because I didn’t know what else to do with it and it’s too pretty to be hidden away - thank you! thanks for the inspiration, Julie!
Hi Julie! I am a sewer/quilter/crafter & have made several cosmetic-type bags from placemats after seeing a video of a lady making them. You do have to sew, though, because you add a zipper. I love your ideas of making pillows as well. And that copper patina paint-LOVE it 💗💗
Julie, congratulations on 100K subscribers! I really like how you go find something and then show us what you do with the item. Enjoyed this video. Would just be too hard to pick a favorite, but you can bet I will be on the lookout for straw purses. Thanks for sharing
I love the copper technique! And the baby shoes are so stinking cute. I always enjoy all your DIY projects. And all the hooks in your home. It’s just beautiful. Everything is so well styled. I’m ready for more of your wood build projects. Thanks Julie
Love what you did with your entire haul but I especially love how you transformed that copper pan! Love this format where you go thrifting and then you DIY right afterwards!
You are super super talented!!! I love the style of your videos. Find something show the DY and then go back it’s brilliant. I just ordered a wooden cross bowl from you and received it today! It’s beautiful
Definitely ❤ the baby shoes and placemat diys!! I got some placemats in a haul that had shrunk in the dryer and cut them apart. They ended up being 3 layers of awesomeness that I’m still using in projects! I can find uses for darn near anything. 😂
I definitely love this new format. I watch several other youtubers and no one else does it like you do. The place mats were such cute ideas. Keep up the good job.😊❤
Hello Julie! I just found you through Sherry at Canterbury Cottage and I love your talents! I will be watching you now. I love how you used baby shoes. Using what we already have is what we need display instead of keeping it boxed up. Great job!!!
You are just amazing Julie! I wish I had half your natural eye and talent!!! Thanks for all of the tips and tricks over the last 4ish years...my diy gift giving has never been better or more well received and used!
The smaller placemat pillow would br great to stuff she potpourri in a little draw swing bag ad tuck it inside for the fragrance. Or even a handkerchief sprayed or dipped in essential oils.
You have such unique, creative ideas...for the baby shoes and the placemats for pillows. My favorite was the hanging rose picture that you created with the wooden plaque.
Thank you for watching! All the paint, IOD and home decor can be purchased on my website www.juliesdesignsandsigns.com
Love this new format Julie where we see you DIY the items directly from the bins.

No worries! If I had room, my Christmas decor would stay up all year in its own room.
The placemat creations were just magic!

The little basket would look so cute with a honeycomb and honey bee towel draped over the edge peeking out of it.
