I love your work, could you maybe put some sound padding in your studio to cancel out the echo :)
That or trying to use a dynamic microphone.
Adds to the experience
Most of it could probably be removed in the edit with a plug-in. It wouldn’t be perfect but it would be a noticeable improvement.
Yeah, but it kinda encapsulates the PBS-esque lofi quality of the channel. I actually wouldn't change a thing
Hit up his Patreon and give him a couple hundred dollars.
I read this book when I was little. If I remember correctly part of Astro's origin mentioned the volcano cooking the outer layer of his brain or something
*P I Z Z A*
Also, I’ll have you know that I have been recycling air since the first crusade.

Bro your take on this book has to be the funniest thing I’ve heard in awhile, thanks for the laugh.. cheers and keep reading comics 🤙🏽
Remember the Zodiac villains the S.H.I.E.L.D and Nick Fury used to fight against, at one point? Why weren't they used for this story instead is beyond me ._.
From one 🦁 to another, amazing work as always Chris 😁👍
To drink Fernet Branca you must to mix it first with Coca-cola! It's Argentina's favorite drink!
It's well known in martial arts circles that a karate chop is the only way to deal with Kung Fu wrestlers.
This is so brilliantly hilarious!!!! Omg....I laugh every time.
Your intro skits are some of the best on UA-cam
Always good to see you get loaded for an episode, Chris!
It’s always a full send here at comic tropes
"It's a good thing he wasn't thinking about his lunch."
Spider-Man's greatest enemy: THE SANDWICH
That doesn’t say “pizza”. It says “ass19”. That makes it the coolest pizzeria in NYC.
Aunt May looks like the old version of Gary Oldman’s Dracula. Yikes.
“Spider-Man wouldn’t date girls” because that kid Ben was probably still in the “girls have cooties” phase. At least, that’s the impression I got.
same... I thought that was pretty easy to put together he just has modern comic tropes in mind and it confused him.
Omg, you did great with this video, you had me dying listening to this.
I never knew that Aunt May was a Fallout Ghoul for a while.
Mr. Zodiac was Spiderman's greatest villain because he almost killed a real life person via alcohol poisoning that is why Spiderman had to attempt to tram them with a train
Mr. Zodiac was going to kidnap Aunt May, but then he saw her face and ran the hell away
As a gemini myself, your description and drink choice are strangely accurate
I hear absinthe makes the heart grow fonder.
There used to be a Spider-Man strip in the newspaper years ago. The art looks similar to that but very simplified.
Larry Lieber (aka Stan Lee's brother) used to do that strip. This could well be his work.
Had this book as a kid. Thanks for the revisit.
Jesus christ I had one shot of Bombay sapphire and felt like I was being killed. This guy is a beast
we get more backstory in the chris cinematic universe. He sells cars and poops in litter-boxes
I would love to see a comic where Spider-man strips for action and gives everybody a gooey mouthful
Thanks!
I read the book as a 10 year old during summer vacation in around 1960, and I enjoyed it. Well, OK...live and learn
This is the hardest I’ve laughed in a while, awesome video! 😂
Damn this is funny. I love your channel. I haven't laughed so hard in a while
So Peter Parker drove a clown car.
Sometimes a 1920s-styled clown car is all you can afford.
About the sound - have you ever tried to high pass the low end in the premiere? Cut every frequency below 100 Hz !
Fun fact. There is a species of spider that can spin webs and live underwater. They use the webs as like a submarine and it uses the oxygen from the water to live
Oooo I remember getting these as a little kid from my local Woolworth in the mid 70s
your intro game keeps getting better 👏
Cleverest intro to date!!! Love the show,Chris!!!
What a nostalgic trip this video was for me. I owned this book, and quite a few other books of this same type, when I was a kid. I read this one a lot. It's too bad the only (I think) zodiac transformation that didn't happen in the book was Cancer, my sign, so I didn't get to see the drink accompaniment for that one.
Betty Brandt...the secretary at the Bugle...dated Peter for a while. Probably why she was rude to Virgo in the beginning.
Seems like we have a case of a writer who was given a blurb about Spider-Man and not much else to work with, but they tried to touch on the tropes that were listed. Fun video. If any other characters make the news like ole' web head did this week I wouldn't mind seeing another story like this.
