As everyone has said “WoW” I think Yuina san would have been so proud in what we witnessed. A classic interpretation of the original piece, the Gene Krupa solo. Again you see Kyoto Tachibana pushing the envelope in style and performance. There is a remarkable DNA in this school culture and that is why they loved and followed all over the world. The future is bright the future is Orange 🍊
So awesome to see and hear this wonderful group of young musician's getting to be taught by one of the greats and then to showcase them!! Thank You so much. It will be an experience they will never forget!

What a time for the KT drummer to have sitting and playing beside a drumming legend for the concert. I hope and pray that the night was special and unforgettable for her. Interesting and unusual perspective of a stage performance. I could only get a ticket for the Monday Concert which unfortunately did not include Ano-san's considerable contribution so this is "Manna from Heaven" ! The concerts won't appear on YT (or will they?) but this being a rehearsal/run through I presume that "The Maestro" has ownership of it and chooses to share it with us - He has my sincere thanks and our Girl on the Drums has my complete admiration - ATTAGIRL!
Loved the duelling drummers. As usual, KT is being innovative and leading the way for marching bands. I am hoping like crazy they put the Regular Concert on DVD to share with the world.

Well, while it's always nice to watch K.T. and enjoy their presentations....this it appears to me, to be just the "dress rehearsal"...NOT the actual concert as presented on Sunday night March 27th. So everyone knows....the concert that evening was even better as the professional video will show when it's released. Just telling it like it is, this is Tsugio Ano-sans copy.
Agree the actual performance that I've watch was even better plus in 3:24 we can actually hear Someone speaking to the microphone directing them i think that was their band director Mr.Kaneshiro

Hello, not always. Choose and listen to videos of past Terms spaced about 4 years apart. The is change in the repertoire. Learning the various Disney Melodies is helpful if the band is invited to a Disneyland. Example 113th Term (2016) Playlist is different than 114th Term (2017) Playlist. " Hey! "

橘は毎期素晴らしいドラマーを輩出してきましたがこの子も凄い、阿野さんのドラムに臆せず素敵なリズムを聴かせてもらいました、ありがとう。

橘入学時にどのくらいのレベルかわからんけど、橘高校に入って2年ちょっとでこのレベルのドラムはエグすぎる😅
歴代のパーカスにこのレベルの生徒がいっぱいいるのは怖すぎるwww
あまり技量がどうのと言いたくないですが、橘のドラマーは、例年の子に比べるとかなり上手いのは確かです。
現コーチも橘111期パーカス隊で卒業後渡米、DCIでドラムを磨いてきています。もちろん生徒本人の才と努力でしょうけど、環境は最高ですよ。
何時、視聴しても素敵すぎる。努力は嘘をつかないね。
橘のドラムも素晴らしいね。さすが

私も日曜日のドラム合戦堪能しました 感動しました 定期演奏会はなんとなく寂しくなりますね 最後の演奏会だから。

3:58-4:02 Great performance, but the best part was hearing the Percussion section cheering on their friend in the drum solo competition...

最終リハーサル中でしょうか。橘のドラマー、顧問の先生の指導で演奏止めてしまうとは。阿野さんは、キャラバンの到着に比べて、橘の子へのやさしさが感じられます。橘も慣れているSingx3の方がしっかり乗れているように聞こえます。
こういうコラボは本番を流してほしいですけど、著作権やなんやで難しいのかな。まあ、DVD買うのが部活への支援になるのでしょうか。
部活動への寄付は、学校が行って居ます。

ローズパレードで世界で最も有名な日本高校の地位を獲得した素晴らしいバンド。
だが同時にブレイクのきっかけになったバーン ザ フロアのコピーである「シング シング シング」で獲得したおじさんファン・オタクファンの反応を気にするようになったのが残念。。。
現役高校生が歓声とか関係無しに自分たちがやりたいパフォーマンスを突き詰めれば、ダンプレ勢とは違う魅力を出せると思う。
世界的に有名だから今の選曲を続けるのか国内的に人気のダンプレに対抗する新機軸を提案するのかは生徒さん達の判断だから、外野がとやかく言う事ではないけど。。。
特にパレード重視は音のバランスが悪すぎて。。。
アマチュアトップコンサートで阪急少年音楽隊のスタイルを真似ていた頃より素敵なスタイルを確立したので、更なる飛躍を期待しています♪
普通にやりたいようにやってると思いますよ？
そもそも、みんなこのスタイルでやりたくて入ってきた子ばかりですし.........
それに、「国内で人気のダンプレに対抗」って違うくないですか？対抗する意味が無いですし、楽しんでやっているものに"対抗"は間違ってますよ。
当方、ダンプレを主にやっていた学校出身ですが京都橘さんはずっと憧れの学校でしたし、みんなの目標だったのであなたの言い方はかなり引っかかりました。
また、外野がとやかく言う事じゃないと思うなら言わない方がいいんじゃないですかね☺️

あのスタイルに中学生が憧れるのは理解できますが、ほぼ半々の男女共学校に進学した女子高生なら意識が変わるものと思っていまして。。。
実際、普通の共学校の女子から感想を聞いていますのでどうも私の意見は偏っているようです。
