9 27 2023 Pier dive with Robert

Wednesday Night under the Pier on St Croix. Robert Georgopul and I had another good night and even managed to get footage of a Nurse Shark. I also filmed another case of Turtle fibropapillomatosis. You can see the cauliflower-like tumor has completely covered the turtle’s eye. The tumor is characterized by benign but debilitating. The tumor itself won’t kill but it will hamper sight, in this case, which leaves the Turtle blind.
