I got a couple questions as I am trying to accomplish this is the same build. After the goid releases another swarm, it charges you and you just seem to welcome it and ram back. Is there a specific reason for this? When's the precise time you're using heatsinks as you're not cold orbiting by the looks of it? Since the Vette is slow, are you just tanking the lightening attack and then just repairing immediately? Thanks
"it charges you and you just seem to welcome it and ram back. Is there a specific reason for this?" of course, by ramming the interceptor like that you immediately break its shield which makes the fight much easier, imagine having to tank while waiting for the shield to decay, you'd die. "When's the precise time you're using heatsinks as you're not cold orbiting by the looks of it?" there isn't much behind that, you overheat with such sustained fire so a heatsink helps, it's not absolutely necessary but I don't like my ship being 150%+ heat for too long. "Since the Vette is slow, are you just tanking the lightening attack and then just repairing immediately?" if the interceptor isn't exerted, try to avoid the lightning attack but if it is (exerted), just get caught in the lightning, that will give you all the time in the world to easily snipe the exposed heart, you can always reboot right after to regen your shield anyway, that's a win-win move if correctly done.
Hey! I just started my journey in thargoid hunting and I saw you rebooting your ship when it’s low, and then it would regenerate your shield… is that working with all ships and all shields? And also, since you are fighting an hydra, I guess you already killed other types of thargoids so I wanted to know, is there a big difference between the cyclops and the basilisk? I would like to try and kill one…
o7 "Is that working with all ships and all shields?" -> Of course, rebooting will always set your shield back to 50% of its maximum HP as long as you fulfill a couple of conditions such as being under 50 m/s when the ship comes back online and not taking any damage during the entire duration of the reboot. "Is there a big difference between the cyclops and basilisk?" -> It honestly depends on the pilot and the ship said pilot is using, when we did a poll to know which jump players thought was the hardest, most answered "Cyclops to Basilisk" and for a reason, the basilisk is faster, deals more damage, has one more heart and is harder to exert. I don't know what ship you're using but good luck! If you have any questions or want some help, might be a good idea to join AXI's Discord if that's not already the case.
Didn't you know that shield protects from nothing in case of Thargoids? Only attracts their lighting weapon. Just imagine how many hull/module boosters you could have instead of all shield related modules
you dont live in my shoes so how would you know if they shatter my cockpit first? The funny part is Ive made 3 fleet carriers fighting goids I think I know how they work even if its just a little
how nice of the Hydra to wait until your ship has rebooted every time.
Very impressive Commander. Hopefully you're still around; we could use your help especially now.
We need more of these videos in full length 1080p resolution please. Thank you.

@@Xarionn22460 Thank you for the fast response, this helps my understanding a lot!

that shield ispretty strong, maybe a biwave?

I think they know I use a shield because they always get my canopy first even with module reinforcements and a reinforced life support
You have no idea what you're talking about
