Going to play this build for a 3rd season due to most other druid builds are boring. This is my fav build due to being so fun and interactive. Hopefully now everything is fixed with it!
I really like the umbral aspect for boulders. You restore resource every time you Crowd Control an enemy, and since boulders do "knock back" on every single hit, your boulders regenerate enough spirit to pay for themselves. Unfortunately that doesnt work against bosses so you have to throw in basic attacks to keep your spirit up.
hello, something that could help with your spirit issue, try a variation with Ring of Starless Skies. The aspect for boulder toss make it a core skill. So this uber unique should reduce the spirit cost by 40 % if you can sustain the spirit cost with it's buff active. Worth the try and might spike up your damage as well.
Awesome! I am trying out the overpower hurricane build from moxsy to understand it better, but will try next boulder. I would try to use overpower and either maul or Vasilys to be in bear form and get the damage bonus from werebear. I would also try to use sheperds, even if it means losing the ult. It is such a good multiplier. If the ult is really important or if we need to use Debilitating or CA, Shepherds with only Poison Creeper and Ravens (6 minions instead of 8) is also ok. Will be testing as well. Thanks!
@@KidlatWheeler yes it is pretty much default. Shepherds + stamped can get you to 9 minions. It is the best option. But sometimes because of other restrictions we may need to take out stampede (6 minions) or even keep stampede but not get wolves, keeping only poison creeper and ravens, so that one additional skill can be used without such a terrible impact on damage
See boulders damage is actually great now. But the knock back effect from the build makes Pit rough. I can nuke the boss in a 70 pit run but killing the adds leading up to it takes me way too long because I’m throwing the elites around and chasing them around the entire time lol.
I’ve been tinkering with earthern might and some lucky hit restore mechanics while putting the duration temper on weapon to negate all cooldown rolls. This opens up a heap of affix and temper rolls for resource. It’s going well since the last hotfix with bad gear because we are all brokies.
you can go to the other video from 2 days ago (earth father dominates ...) and press on the tiny url link in the description. you will get to mobalytics and there you can swap between the build variations below the build summary. there is one called default, one called pure landslide and one called budget. budget is the one without uber uniques and there you can see what skills to assign and what to assign in paragon boards and the aspects to use etc.
many smaller content creators or players have builds on this. google it. ps. theyes manuy variants and some r just better for leveling and others for boss killing until shako. and u could argue that a good gaffix vasilies would, due to all the bear dm,g reduc, quickshuift and access to bear borads, would be competitive to shako version.
I know but that build hasn't been tested and is not complete. The skill tree is the same as if he is still wearing shako, there is no context into why he chose the "+2 earth skills" aspect on the helm when landslide is not the damage skill, the paragon board is the same, and the build is pretty squishy without the ubers. He said himself when he dropped the main build that he would be testing the budget version and would do a vid on it. So I am just bustin his balls lol
I think he tested everything also for the budget version. Isn’t lightning storm coming from nature s fury considered also a earth skill ? Because this should be the reason why
Finaly a build with boulder and hurrican. Im trying to fit a build with symbiotic, insatiable fury, hunter zenith for trample close gap and refounding 40 Spirit. Also using the passive 16 sec to snapshot hurricain. Do you think it could work? Spaming trample, boulder and hurricain. Buffing up also the DR with might and maul aspect ?
Is boulder chance to strike twice bugged? Trying it out today on a throw away weapon, I see the procs for double boulders, but the damage looks to be the same?
Bro...honestly trying to piece together exactly what you are running between the differences in this video and the moba link and the text at the bottom of the link is terrible. You should delete this video until you have everything put together.
I think that if you need to be using an offensive aspect slot for a resource generation aspecr slot on druid it wont be a viable build becausw you are losing a x20-40% damage. Also doesnt work on bosses if i remember right.
Can’t remember the aspects name but the one that heals you Everytime you use any skill> primary resource is returned for every 20% you heal. These 2 aspects have been helpful with spamming spirit. Went with these until I got rings with resource cost reduction
Umbral works great with boulder/hurricane for farming, but the problem is you cant CC bosses so when you get to the boss you are in trouble. That plus being able to use another damage aspect means we should look for a better solution to resource. Tibault is a dmg multiplier as well as resource generation, so it should be one of the main options indeed.
You should try the companions build, moxsy made one as well. I have been using it for the past few days and early game it's very broken when doing single target damage, and the potion of bolts fixes the aoe issue. Hopefully you can refine it even further
As for holy bolt potion fixes aoe, the holy bolts bugged rn because of how it calculates damage to my knowledge, so its only fixed by a bug soon to be fixed... that being said it IS blizzard, so it could be fixed tomorrow, or in two years 😂😂
@@ryanwilliamson5714 elixir is only "bugged" in certain instances of specific builds. Like summon necro. But bc summon necro was what 90% of player base played/plays...everyone thinks it's bugged for all builds
for rescource problems, there is a tempering recipie that gives you 15 spirit i think it is when you cast wrath skills, and even though your aspect on your two hander makes it count as core skill if you hover over boulder in your skill bar it will classify as nature magic, core, WRATH, and the other ones whatevs so everytime you cast boulder it just refunds the cost basically. and then you can roll more tankiness in your defensive item slots instead of spirit per second :) (edit: this is false. Tested it and does not work. possibly can use it still and use hurricane over and over to proc it but other than that it does not refund. it did in the ptr but no more. probably was due to a bug)
When I tested it, it wasnt refunding the cost from what i saw because it is no longer a wrath skill... it becomes a core skill... at least when i tested it earlier in the season. Maybe that was part of the bug fix? Because even the wrath bonus skill points from dolmen stones wasnt applying to boulder when i was looking into it.
It’s still bugged with natures fury which is a real shame.. appears blizzard has hard coded skills to proc certain skills. For example, even with metamorphic stone changing boulder to a core skill, you cannot proc a boulder using tornado or shred + natures savegery. It can only be proced from hurricane which really sucks because there was opportunity for this to be good with natures fury
Ive waited since the begining of the league to play this build Im struggling with the knock back of the skill. Quite annoying to play when you push enemies away.
First from wolves seasonal progress, second after any tempered boss, thrid uber lilith, by then bosses may drop uber uniq or you can level another char to get wolves seasonal again
@@poiloutuktuk6052 I don't think you understand how tempering works. Weapon tempering and offensive tempering are separate category, and only option to increase boulder dps is adding the extra projectile.
I used this boulder build during my druids leveling phase until I got a tempest roar and finished as a lightning storm druid. The issues I had were sometimes the boulder disappeared mid boss fights or nightmare dungeon and it wouldn't reappear until I ported back to town and went back into the dungeon. After dealing with what I thought was random bug issues I switched to Human lightning storm/tornado until I got a TR. Best decision I made lol. But I may revisit this build if it's working properly now that it's been 2 or 3 weeks since I touched the druid last.
yeah that bug killed the build but your safe to use it now! I recommend it for bosses though because the Knockback is incredibly overwhelming when clearing the pit. boss damage no issue at all EZ PZ

@@KidlatWheeler Are you sure, because it seems to me that you need a very high attack speed? You also need to obtain the double attack at the forge. And how effective is this version for farming dungeons and Helltides?
@@Perry370 I'm using it right now for that build. Definitely not running into any resource issues and have very sub optimal gear. Miss out on the attack speed and damage to close though. Not sure how the math shakes out exactly but I'd image perfect rolled GA gear is probably better but until that point?

Hmm tempest roar only generates spirit for storm/werewolf skills cast. Boulder is an earth skill, and you don't spam it enough to get significant spirit back, so no ^^.

Hurricane is only cast once in a while here, boulder is the one you will use more, but still won't spam like tornadoes or lightning.

It’s funny because if he just used his own (admittedly low IQ) brain he would actually learn the game and be able to manage expectations as he builds his character.

I can say Companion > Werenado > Wind shear > Pulverize > Then this build... Too much spirit usage needed for this build but not that great and very limited in terms of damage output and spirit drain. Though it's a cool build.
im a fan of ur builds, but this one... omg, 150 k the max crit i saw... to do glacial boss or helltides ok, if u want to try something higher this build is horrific in terms of damage, just see the numbers, is not hate is the reality xD

That wrath tag should be on when you use the legendary effect that makes boulder a core skill. The amulet +3 ranks is now useless.

Boulder double cast is not being applied on dolmen stone. You can see the effects but does zero damage
This bugs are critical and making this build not able to push higher pits or whatever...
then just use a damage temper instead, not a big loss as you could not max it to 100% anyway.

important gameplay rotations/affixes etc and is annoyed that he can’t match the top tier pit clears. It’s funny because if he just used his own (admittedly low IQ) brain he would actually learn the game and be able to manage expectations as he builds his character.

First of all I'm like 30, second of all I just straight up explained how to fix your problems? Doesn't make sense to me
Im sad. This build looks like so much fun to play. But man..even at 80 that damage is TERRIBLEEEE. And thats WITH shako..sigh. hopefully this build will be brought up to its full potential someday

I can say Companion > Werenado > Wind shear > Pulverize > Then this build... Too much spirit usage needed for this build but not that great and very limited in terms of damage output and spirit drain. Though it's a cool build.
im a fan of ur builds, but this one... omg, 150 k the max crit i saw... to do glacial boss or helltides ok, if u want to try something higher this build is horrific in terms of damage, just see the numbers, is not hate is the reality xD

I honestly wish there wasn’t any build guides it totally kills the creativity of the game! UA-camrs dictates what’s the meta…then players dick rides and now all we see is heartseekers rogues wind daddy Druids the list goes on! And the sad part about this you’ll only go as far as the creator 🤦🏽♂️💯
