- Comparison of suspended cymbals from Meinl, Sabian, and Zildjian.
Zildjian A0419: A Zildjian 18" Classic Orchestral
Sabian 21889: Sabian 18" AA Molto Symphonic
Meinl SY-18SUS: Meinl 18" Symphonic Suspended
Because of my love for big sounds, Meinl is the way to go.
Lots a dramatic tone in that Meinl.
meinl and sabian
Meinl sound the best for me and I'm a Zildjian guy.
Non si devono sentire i colpi di appoggio della mazzuola sul piatto!
Had to explain to my girl friend what a suspended cymbal is. This was perfect. Plus 10000 likes
I had no idea as a composer that suspended cymbals of the same diameter are not interchangeable, but man what a difference! I love the darker qualities of the Meinl compared to the other two, that is rather new for me on a cymbal.
What kind of music do you write?
@@thegoodgeneral new classical music for stage and film. Currently enjoying your videos.
@@oboealto best of luck. An unkind industry to “classical” film music these days.
@@thegoodgeneral thank you, my friend. I actually notice a tremendous hunger for that in the industry, as well as outstanding appreciation worldwide (see John Williams and Howard Shore, to name just two masters).
@@oboealto hehe. I’m glad you see it that way. I’m also a composer, also that field. Want to exchange contact info? Do you have Discord?
I'm a fan for Zildjian.
SABIAN
Proof that not all meinl cymbals sound pre-cracked.
do this comparison please with marching cymbals :)
i could do better
This sounds like a history channel show
The slightly brighter quality of the Sabian makes it my sus cymbal of choice. The Zildjian and Meinl cymbals are wonderful instruments as well, but I prefer the Sabian Molto series best.
When the cymbal is sus
@@tedohare9547 sus!1!1!!!1 cymbal
@@tedohare9547 lol nice
meinl hands down
Meinl wins.
