    Honestly, this map is great for anyone new to zombies, at least if they aren't a complete bot and don't know how to hold down a single button to do something. It's like Der Riese, but bigger. And pack-a-punch is very simple to start as well. You just walk into a teleporter, hold down a button, walk back to the starting room, walk onto a pad, and then hold the button again. Town had pap right in front of you when you start, and every launch map after made it crazy hard just to upgrade your guns, especially Shadows.

    Nacht is the most iconic. After beating WaW and seeing you crashed a plane and something run at you in the fog revealing it to be a zombie was horrifying and awesome for my 8th grade self at 3 am. Older cod players Nacht is the only map. Holding the mystery box room down with a Tommy gun on wave 35 and the first time you realized you could make a crawler. Note I coined that term back in the day lol and training was founded on nacht too I did it back in 08. Feel bad for people that dissent okay WaW zombies in their time

Anyways I remember there was this glitch we all did one evening to get on top of the turret on Kino DER toten. When you get up there you're literally untouchable. • @ShadowZealot7
    @ShadowZealot7 5 років тому

    I thought of Origins at the beginning. BO2 was my first COD, since until then I had mostly played Halo games over COD. I played zombies with my family on Tranzit, Town, and especially Farm, where we spent a lot of time camping in the top of the house. Unfortunately, after that, most of my family lost interest and I didn't really have any friends that liked to play zombies, so I primarily played solo. I liked Die Rise, adored MoTD, had a lot of fun with Buried since it was so easy and fun that my sibling would actually play the map. Origins, however, made me fall in love. There was so much to do and the staves were so cool that I wanted to try all of them. I replayed the shit out of the BO2 version trying to get all of the staves. Origins will probably always be my favorite map.

    Remeber when i was the first to get bo1 of all the kids. You player multiplayer sometimes, but ofcourse its the good old age where everyone trash talked all the time and some people was very good and nice and some was trash and toxic and you had to carrie him trough all the rounds while he said it’s our fouls. So I played a lot solo too. And I still remember the vibe. Dark room at night, headset on, game on. The first rounds was always creepy because it was so silent you could hear every sound. The cracks the haunting noises etc.

    I rebought black ops 1 recently so I can replay the campaign, zombies, and multiplayer. I have been replaying kino a lot. And there’s something that’s draws me in more then the bo3 remake. Call it nostalgia or it could be the uncensored nazi imagery or the old and real weapons along with not having to worry about gobble gums and wunderfizz and stuff like that. It feels right to me i don’t know how to explain it.

    I had like 30 dollars on steam a couple of months ago, and saw there was a sale event, so I hoped on and began browsing for potencial games I might purchase. Then i saw it: BO3+Zombies chronicles for 20$. I had played cod before: MW at my cousins house, MW 2 and 3 at mine... and World at war and black ops. Since I have known the existence of an never ending gamemode that also was cooperative with friends, I have always wanted to play it. I enjoyed Waw and bo1 zombies, so much, I, ejem, pirated cod zombies for mobile: it was still lots of fun. But later I wasnt able to play those games and thus slowly forgot cod zombies. I searched what zombies chronicles was: 8 classic maps. That was the push I needed to buy it, because I knew more modern maps were more complicated and wanted to start with something simple. When I bought it I didn't even know about the workshop, it was basically infinite maps. Based on the memories a lot of people had with their friends, I really, really wish one friend buys bo3 so we can play zombies together. Thx for reading if you did

    Kino was a good map back in BO1 zombies I remember playing this on the wii when I was like 10 or something. I heard rumors like if you get to round 100 or something like a really high round you will begin to unlock five or unlock five which wasnt true later I moved platforms and on xbox kino was alot more creepier but, not as creepy as Verrückt. I remember playing zombies games with my friends one nice lady sadly my friends list on wii kept getting erased or something then I ran into a good friend at 15 or 16 on xbox on WaW then I mainly played that. So many memories on so many of these games. Kino was a great map then I got into BO2 zombies which was alright then some BO3 zombies on last gen. Alot of fun games these classics it's fun to find a friend and go on any of these WaW maps or BO1 maps and just get to high rounds. I would train myself everyday never was any good I did pretty well on Nacht der Untoten on WaW my friend and I would hold the team together but, he was the one with the strategy. I remember I ran out of gold and he bought my gold for xbox. I went in with no strategy no life plan but, he gave me life advice. One day I was playing zombies we got to about round 20 by me camping and him guarding a window every round we would save a crawler he would rebuild barriers and I would keep the zombie alive or some random player would keep one alive while I helped rebuild barriers. We had alot of fun we became so good of friends we were friends on facebook. One day he said my liver came back a fourth time I told him you beat it three times you can beat it a fourth which he did but, sadly he said the doctor called and he had lung cancer final stages. He passed back in 2019. I lost a good friend and when I was able to go back on I sometimes saw his son online we never spoke except once on facebook and my friends sister told me about what happened. I'm a changed person since then I'm usually on zombies but I would sometimes play with friends but, I would play solo most of the time I would look for other good players but I'm unable to at this time. I just might move over to PC.

    It's still so crazy to me that Kino's legacy almost never happened, since it was originally intended to be a part of a DLC 4 for World at War and the only reason it wasn't was because they didn't have enough time in WaW's DLC season before MW2. Sure, we still probably would have still gotten Kino in some form, but it probably wouldn't have been the same, nor claimed it's title as probably the most iconic map in Zombies history.

    Five was a dull atmosphere. Creepy. Damned.
    Prison of the Damned or whatever had a damned atmosphere. There was no hope and never was.
    But Kino Der Toten.. That is the quintessential zombie aura. There was hope. It shows what was and what could have been. Like 2 celestial towers falling on 9-11. Like an entire nation that had such great culture succumb to the most primal horror. Like ants that kill and feel nothing better. But also remind you that it could have been so grand!
