One of my favorite reels. Anything from the early mid-eighties cast a mile and built tough. Daiwa, Quantum, Shimano all excellent to me.

I just found a Daiwa PMA33 Procaster my garage that looks similar to this, I was shocked how amazing it casts. But cant find any info on it anywhere.

I inherited one of these from my dear old grandfather, I started fishing a bit but im not sure what to make of this reel. Is it suitable for freshwater plug/spinner bait casting? It sure looks like its expensive.
