Tehran is a diverse city. We ask people in Tehran three questions about how they feel about the Persian new year (spring). Their diverse answers reflects the society they live in.

Norooz is a culture wich is not divided to our religion

And personally I think there's nothing in Norooz celebration Which contradicts with Islam
Hi my friend🌺. No there is no limitation about celebrating your newyear; birthday ;wedding etc. in Islam. Shia ppl celebrate what they like also the birthdays of prophets and 12 Imams. Most of the misunderstading is because of media. Islam tell us to start again and never get disappointed and also says the season's change is a sign of God. Nowruz says start again like trees which bloom so they are not against eachother.

"Persian" New Year. The story of Nevroz is about a Kurdish hero. It's a Kurdish new year which later became a broader Iranian/Iranic New Year. Persians just go along with it.
