I just purchased a boatload of samples including Alien and Aura. My husband prefers Alien on me, but I prefer the Aura. I spent all day yesterday smelling my forearm where I sprayed the Aura. Can one be addicted to the way something smells on themself??
Tresor La Nuit is on to-try list.
I’m not a perfume connoisseur. I wore Shalimar happily for years until recently. Not sure if my body chemistry has changed (I’m on the other side of menopause now) or if the cologne is crap (it cost less, so I gave it a try). My son announced that the bathroom smelled like “old lady perfume.” No, thank you very much! I might be mature (56), but I’m not ready to smell like an old lady!
Oh, Mary! You comment made me giggle🤍 one can definitely be addicted to how something smells on oneself! I have that with Alien too!
Do watch my video on Iris, since I think perhaps you may like other Iris alternatives that may not smell so “vintagey”… I looove Shalimar, but it has been reformulated. Also, one’s PH changes (especially on women, for we have those hormone parties-fun-).

So much boring, generic and "nathing special" parfumes, sorrry 😒 there are so many options, deep and versatile fragrances nowdays, much better and interesting than these just sweety ones
